తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన యంగ్ ఇండియా పోలీస్ స్కూల్ (YIPS) లో, అమరులైన పోలీసుల పిల్లలకు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇచ్చారు.
- ఇతర పోలీసు ఉద్యోగుల పిల్లల (కానిస్టేబుల్ నుంచి ఐపీఎస్ వరకు) కోసం మొత్తం సీట్లలో 50% కేటాయించారు.
- మిగతా 50% సీట్లు స్థానికులకు (ఓపెన్ కేటగిరీ) కేటాయించారు. ప్రతి తరగతిలో 40 సీట్లు ఉండగా, 1 నుంచి 5 తరగతుల వరకు మొత్తం 200 సీట్లు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి.
