The 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to thrill cricket
fans from March 22 to May 25, 2025. Featuring 10 teams battling it out in 74
matches across 13 venues in India, this season promises high-intensity action.
The tournament kicks off with a thrilling opener at Kolkata’s iconic Eden Gardens, where defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Key Highlights:
- Opening Match: Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on March 22 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
- First Double-Header: On March 23, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will play against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad at 3:30 PM IST. Later that day, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai at 7:30 PM IST.
- Final Match: The IPL 2025 final is set for May 25 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
