Telangana Rythu Bharosa Scheme 2025 Guidelines

Key aspects of the scheme include:

Financial Assistance:

Farmers will receive ₹12,000 per acre annually, an increase from the Rs 10,000 provided under the previous Rythu Bandhu scheme.

Eligibility:

Only active cultivable lands registered under the Bhu Bharati system are eligible. Non-cultivable lands, including those repurposed for real estate or commercial use, are excluded.

Farmers holding podu lands under the Recognition of Forest Rights Act (RoFR Act) are eligible. Landless agricultural families identified through MGNREGS job card records, with at least 20 days of work in 2023-24, will receive Rs 12,000 per year under the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa sub-scheme.

Implementation Timeline:

A comprehensive field survey to identify eligible lands and beneficiaries will be conducted from January 16 to 20. Survey findings will be displayed in gram sabhas from January 21 to 24, allowing for objections or corrections. Finalization of beneficiary lists by January 25. Fund Disbursement: Funds will be directly transferred to farmers' bank accounts through the RBI’s Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

Administration:

District collectors are responsible for grievance redressal and ensuring only eligible beneficiaries receive assistance.

The National Informatics Centre (NIC) will serve as the IT partner for the scheme’s implementation. The Rythu Bharosa scheme aims to provide enhanced crop investment support to farmers, addressing gaps identified in the previous Rythu Bandhu scheme, and ensuring targeted assistance to active cultivators and landless agricultural families.
