Vizag Port Trust Recruitment 2023:
There are now 40 applications being accepted for apprentice trainees, according to a recent statement by the Vishakhapatnam Port Authority (Vizag Port Trust). Engineering graduates and diploma holders are invited to apply for the training, and the age limit will be adhered to in accordance with apprenticeship regulations. By October 24, 2023, interested applicants may submit for different graduate and technician vacancies.
This is a contractual post with a one-year term that may be extended based on performance. The applicants will be chosen based on their graduate and diploma programs.

What are the Educational Qualifications:
Engineering or Diploma graduates who completed their studies in 2020, 2021, or 2022 and who met the requirement to register on the MHRD NATS Portal.
Graduate Apprentices:
1. A Technology or Engineering Degree from a recognized University.
2. A degree in engineering or technology awarded by organizations that are authorized to do so by a law passed by parliament.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
1. A diploma in engineering or technology awarded by an appropriate discipline's State Council or Board of Technical Education, which was founded by the State Government.
2. A university-issued Engineering or Technology Diploma in a related field.
What is the Age Limit:
Age Limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship rules.
What is the Stipend:
1. Graduate Apprentices: Rs.9,000/-
2. Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Rs.8,000/-
What is the Selection Process:
A. candidates for Graduate and Technician Apprenticeships will be selected solely on the basis of their cumulative marks from Graduate and Diploma programs, respectively.
B. Children of VPA Employees, namely those of deceased employees, medically invalidated & superannuated employees, and serving employees, shall be given preference.
C. After certificate verification by ADT BoAT(STR) and officials of the Vishakhapatnam Port Authority, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, the final rank list will be completed according to the categories General/SC/ST/OBC.
How to Apply Online:
Step 1: Log on to the National Web Portal at mhrdnats.gov.in and register.
Step 2: Following registration, each candidate will receive a special Enrollment Number.
Step 3: Log in to the National Web Portal and select "Find Establishment" from the menu.
Step 4: Submit your CV and select the business name.
Step 5: Click submit following successful application.
