Aarogyasri Health Card 2023: Telangana Government raises limit from Rs.2 Lakh to Rs.5 Lakh
The Aarogyasri Scheme was introduced by Telangana's Chief Minister, Shri K. Chandrashekar Rao, to provide health insurance to the state's poor population. Aarogyasri cards will be given as financial protection under this program to BPL families earning upto 5 lakhs per year. The primary goal of this program is to increase the equity of access to high-quality tertiary medical care for BPL families through infrastructure improvements at public hospitals as well as the purchase of high-quality private medical services to cover the costs of catastrophic medical needs.

- To offer a family financial protection of Rs. 5 lakhs annually.

Telangana raises limit of Aarogyasri to Rs. 5 Lakhs:
According to the State Government, a plan to develop and distribute new Aarogyasri wallet digital cards to recipients will begin in the following weeks. The decision to issue verified wallet digital cards was made in response to the CM's order to boost health insurance coverage for each beneficiary covered by the Aarogyasri insurance scheme from Rs. 2 lakhs to Rs. 5 lakhs.
This will be accomplished through the implementation of the e-KYC program, which will shortly be implemented as part of these efforts and enable beneficiaries identities and residential addresses to be digitally authenticated through Aadhar verification. The existing biometric method of beneficiary identification will be replaced with a facial recognition system, according t health minister T. Harish Ra, who made the announcement during a review meeting for Aarogyasri. The required software will be built in the following weeks.

- First visit the official website of Aarogyasri given below
- Login as a beneficiary by using your mobile number and also OTP.
- After login, the dashboard will be appeared. Then select your state, scheme, and district and search by Family ID/ Aadhar number/ Name/ and State ID and click on the search button
- Then your details will be displayed on the screen. From the "Action" section, you can click on the download button.
