MI vs GT 2023 IPL Match Highlights:
Gujarat Titans beat Mumbai Indians by 62 runs to enter the Indian Premier League final.
Shubman Gill's brilliant performance on an electric night at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium helped the Gujarat Titans advance to the IPL 2023 championship game with a commanding 62-run victory against the Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2.
The outstanding performance by Gill, who scored 129 runs off only 60 balls, was his third century of the year. The Gujarat Titans were able to score an impressive total of 233/3 thanks to Sai Sudharsan's significant contribution of 43 runs off 31 balls and his outstanding strokeplay. Mohit Sharma's outstanding bowling performance of 5/10, along with a team effort from the whole bowling unit, decimated the Mumbai Indians' batting order and limited them to 171 all out, continuing the momentum in their favour.
The Mumbai Indians, who were chasing 234 runs, suffered an early setback when Mohd. Shami removed Impact Player Nehal Wadhera, who had begun with Rohit Sharma since Ishan Kishan was injured. A short ball from Pandya hit Cameron Green on the elbow, forcing him to retire injured and dealing yet more blow. Mumbai's predicament became worse as Rohit Sharma left in the following over, giving Josh Little a difficult catch.
Despite the failures, Green came back to bat and formed a solid combination with Suryakumar Yadav. Rashid Khan hit three fours in one over as part of the pair's barrage of boundaries, helping the Mumbai Indians reach 110/3. Josh Little, an Impact Player, was added to the attack by Hardik Pandya, who swiftly ended the 51-run partnership by removing the effective Green (30 off 20).
After a Shami over, Tilak Varma unleashed an impressive counterattack, hitting four fours and a six. In the following over, he continued to attack Rashid Khan with a boundary, but Rashid's return cost him his wicket, as the Powerplay came to an end with that ball. After six overs, Mumbai Indians had a score of 72/3. After that, Suryakumar Yadav grabbed control and kept Mumbai in the game with a quick-fire fifty off only 33 deliveries. Suryakumar was supported by Vishnu Vinod, who took Ishan Kishan's position as a replacement due to a concussion. Shami was fortunate not to lose a catch while sprinting backwards.
When Mohit Sharma joined the attack and removed Suryakumar Yadav (61 off 38), who had smacked a six earlier in the over, the situation changed. Mohit's influence grew when he also got Vinod's wicket in the same over. In the following over, Rashid made a comeback to trap Tim David LBW, further hurting Mumbai Indians at 158/7. In his subsequent over, Mohit quickly eliminated Jordan and Piyush Chawla. He then secured his fifth wicket by getting Kumar Kartikeya to be caught at far on, dismissing the Mumbai Indians for 171. Mohit's IPL-best statistics of 5/10 helped Gujarat Titans to a dominant 62-run victory.
Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Mumbai Indians, decided to bowl after winning the toss. Hrithik Shokeen was replaced by Kumar Kartikeya in the starting XI, the only change made by the squad. They were replaced by Ramandeep Singh, Nehal Wadhera, Vishnu Vinod, Raghav Goyal, and Sandeep Warrier.
Dasun was replaced by B Sai Sudharsan and Vijay Shankar in the Gujarat Titans' starting eleven.

IPL 2023 Highlights: Mumbai Indians (201/2) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (200/5) in Mumbai by 8 wickets, eliminating RR from the playoff race.
As the Mumbai Indians easily defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Cameron Green's magnificent century kept the Mumbai Indians' chances alive.
With 12 balls remaining, Rohit Sharma (56 off 37) and Cameron Green (100* off 47) staged an amazing counterattack to successfully chase down the score of 201. After the Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to a great start with excellent fifties from Vivrant Sharma (69 off 47) and Mayank Agarwal (83 off 46), the Mumbai Indians bowlers staged a dramatic recovery in the last overs to limit them to 200/4.
Ishan Kishan got things going in the chase of 201 with a six and a four off Nitish Reddy. He was unable to remain at the crease for very long, though, as he mistimed his pull shot and was stopped by Harry Brook at mid-on.
When Rohit Sharma mishit a ball to mid-wicket, Sanvir Singh had an opportunity to take a crucial catch, but he was unable to do so. Cameron Green seized the chance and smacked the following ball for a booming six over deep mid-wicket. By smashing two fours and a six against Tyagi in the next over, Green resumed his attack and helped the Mumbai Indians reach 60/1 at the end of the Powerplay with 18 runs.
With a few sixes against Mayank Dagar, Green then grabbed control and scored 13 runs in one over. Rohit Sharma resumed the run of boundaries by hitting a four off Umran Malik and a six off a beamer from Vivrant Sharma. Green smashed another six over long on and needed just 20 balls to reach his fifty. After the over, Vivrant Sharma was forced to leave the pitch owing to what seemed to be cramping.
The Mumbai Indians reached 114/1 at the midway point thanks to three straight fours from Rohit Sharma off Umran Malik in the following over. In just 51 balls, Rohit and Green's partnership scored 100 runs. After taking 31 balls to reach fifty, Rohit Sharma lofted one off Tyagi over extra cover.
Sanvir Singh once again dropped him at extra cover, giving Rohit Sharma another chance to survive. Green, who had been dominating with his power stroke, added 16 runs in the 13th over by hitting a pair of sixes off Nitish Kumar.
By striking Rohit Sharma for 56 off 37 balls and having him caught at backward point by Nitish Kumar with a stunning diving catch, Mayank Dagar ultimately ended the 128-run partnership. Suryakumar Yadav entered the game by lofting his first ball over extra cover and scoring a four. Suryakumar added a few fours to Green's two fours off Umran Malik, who continued to be unstoppable, scoring 20 runs in the over to down the necessary run rate below 6. Tyagi had to be removed from the assault after bowling a second full throw that was waist-high.
Suryakumar Yadav took a single with 8 runs required off of 18 balls. On 94, Green made a four through an additional cover to reach 98 before taking a single to the covers. Suryakumar pushed one to the leg side for a fast single when 2 runs were needed off of 15 balls. Green, who was 99 and needed one run to win, was defeated by Bhuvneshwar Kumar's slower delivery.

Review on SRH vs RCB Match (18-05-2023):
In the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on Thursday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) prevailed decisively and earned two significant points over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).Heinrich Klaasen's century was overshadowed by Virat Kohli's masterful chase and electrifying century in a thrilling run-fest. Virat Kohli and Captain Faf du Plessis, who were in fine form as openers, gave RCB a head start in their pursuit of the winning score of 187. Virat Kohli, the opener, struck out right away and missed the target with two accurate shots before Faf du Plessis joined the fray. The opening pair for RCB failed to reach a fifty partnership for the second time in the match, and the visitors reached 64/0 after six overs. After Mayank Dagar made a spectacular grab on a delivery that ended up being a no ball, SRH almost put an end to the opening partnership, which added to SRH's concerns.
As both du Plessis and Kohli achieved their respective half-centuries and RCB was cruising at 108/0 with 8 overs remaining, the pair appeared unstoppable with the bat. As the 150-run partnership was ending for the first wicket, Virat Kohli was at the pinnacle of his abilities and left everyone in amazement. For the visitors, the equation read 23 off 18 as SRH continued to look for the first wicket. In order to get his first century of the year off of Bhuvneshwar Kumar's bowling, Virat Kohli hit a maximum. After recovering, SRH quickly dismissed both of the RCB openers, but it was too late for the home team as RCB completed the task with four balls remaining.
Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore gave Sunrisers Hyderabad the opportunity to bat first. As SRH were 7/0 after the first two overs, the visitors kept things tight with the ball and restricted the hitting. The SRH openers Rahul Tripathi and Abhishek Sharma eventually got going, but Michael Bracewell quickly removed both, sending them back to the hut. The SRH player who came in after Heinrich Klaasen got going quickly with some lovely backfoot strokes made the home team 49/2 at the conclusion of the powerplay. Aiden Markram, the SRH captain, kept the runs coming from one end while Klaasen was in charge of the most of the hitting.
After 10 overs, SRH had reached 81/2 and the third-wicket partnership had reached 50 runs in just 29 deliveries. Klaasen added his third half-century of the year as he maintained his impressive run of success. Markram attempted to change the pace on the other end, but Shahbaz Ahmed successfully played the reverse-sweep and cleaned up the SRH captain. The next hitter in the middle, Harry Brook, instantly hit boundaries to support the well-positioned Klaasen. 21 runs were scored by the pair off the 17th over. Klaasen's elegant maximum down the ground helped him score his first IPL century. In contrast, Harshal Patel's flawless slower delivery cleansed the SRH batter. As SRH concluded the innings with 186/5 on the board, Mohd. Siraj nailed the final over by giving up just 4 runs and taking a wicket on the last ball of the innings.
In a nutshell, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad 186/5 (Heinrich Klaasen 104, Harry Brook 27; Michael Bracewell 2/13) by 8 wickets with a total of 187/2 (Virat Kohli 100, Faf du Plessis 71; T Natarajan 1/34).
