TS EMRS CET Eligibility
The students who belong to that particular district are eligible to apply for admission into EMR Schools of the same district. Students studying in Telugu / English Medium are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test.
1. For TS EMRS 6th Class Entrance Test
All the students (Boys & Girls) who are studying 5th class in the Academic year 2023-24 in TW Residential Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools and other Govt. and Private Recognized schools are eligible to write the entrance test for admission into 6th Class.
2. For TS EMRS 7th Class Entrance Test
All the students (Boys & Girls) who are studying 6th class in the Academic year in TW Residential Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools and other Govt. and Private Recognized schools are eligible to write the entrance test for admission into 7th Class for back log vacancies.
3. For TS EMRS 8th Class Entrance Test
All the students (Boys & Girls) who are studying for 7th class in the Academic year 2023-24 in TW Residential Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools and other Govt. and Private Recognized schools are eligible to write the entrance test for admission into 8th Class for back log vacancies.
4. For TS EMRS 9th Class Entrance Test
4. All the students (Boys & Girls) who are studying for 8th class in the Academic year 2023-24 in TW Residential Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools and other Govt. and Private Recognized schools are eligible to write the entrance test for admission into 9th Class for back log vacancies.
5. Income Limit for TS EMRS CET
Parental Income should not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) per annum. (Need not produce income certificate in case of white ration card holders as per GO.MS No: 229 Dated 23-06-2017)
Selected candidates have to produce necessary certificates like, Caste, Income, Ration card SSID No, the Aadhar card. Marks Memo, Study, Record sheet / T.C; Physical fitness certificates, 06 Passport size photos, etc., at the time of admissions.
Selection Process for TS EMRS CET
The selections will be made on merit basis through Entrance Test conducted by Gurukulam. The selected students will get all benefits extended by Gurukulam such as free boarding, lodging, dresses, notebooks & text books, bedding material, medical care and examination fee etc.
The number of seats for boys and girls will be equal for every school (30+30).
Any vacancies of OC, BC, SC, Agency Employees Quota, PHC and vacancies in ST Sub-tribes will be filled up by ST students only as per General ST merit.
Eligibility:
1. Erstwhile District is considered as a unit for selection of Students. The candidates of same erstwhile district/ old district where EMRS Schools are available are eligible to apply for the admissions for 6th class. The Candidates belongs to other districts where EMRS Schools are not available are not eligible.
2. The students belong to the erstwhile district that who passed 5thclass in 2023 from Residential Schools, Model Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools, Zilla Parishad Schools, Govt. Aided Schools and other Govt. Recognized schools are eligible for admission into 6th class.
3. Parental Income for the financial year 2021-22 should not exceed Rupees Two Lakh (2 lakh) per annum for urban and 1.5 lakh for rural or as per the Government
guidelines at the time of admission.
4. The candidates of OC, BC should have been born between 31-11-2011 to 31-03-2014 for admission into 6th class.
5. All the seats of Sports quota for 6th class will be filled with ST candidates only and a separate physical test will be conducted for the Sports quota candidates after
completion of entrance test.
6. All the admissions will be filled as per the district wise seat matrix.
Special features of EMRS (Eklavya Model Residential Schools):
Every class shall have 60 students in two sections of 30 students each and the total sanctioned strength of the school will be 480 students.

TS EMRS Exam Pattern
The test will be conducted for 100 marks in Multiple choice questions type based on the previous year syllabus. Answers should be identified in the OMR Sheet. The Weightage of marks for different subjects and form of questions is furnished here under.
1. TS EMRS CET 6th Class Exam Pattern
For 6th class Entrance Test Each question caries (1) Mark and Exam on 5th class State Syllabus and Multiple choice questions.
Entrance Timing: 2 ½ Hours (10 Am to 12.30 PM) and Total Marks: 100 MARKS

2. TS EMRS CET 7th/8th/9th Class Exam Pattern
If vacancies are available, for 7th/8th/9th class Entrance Test (Each question caries (1) Mark on 6th class State Syllabus and Multiple choice questions).

TS EMRS CET Qualifying Marks
Minimum qualifying cutoff mark in the Entrance test for providing admission in EMR Schools:
Category - Minimum cut off mark for eligibility Out of 100 Marks
PvTG students - 25 Marks
General ST students (STs) - 35 Marks
Scheduled Caste Students (SCs) - 40 Marks
Backward Caste Students (BCs) - 45 Marks
Open Competition Students (OC) - 50 Marks
Application Process :
What is the Application Process for TS EMRS CET 2024?
All the eligible students only shall submit the filled applications through online http://tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in. ( or) with the required details in the application format.
The application process for the TS EMRS CET 2024 is online. The steps to apply are:
Registration: The candidate needs to register on the official website by providing basic details such as name, date of birth, and mobile number.
Application Form: After successful registration, the candidate needs to fill in the application form with personal, educational, and contact details.
Uploading Documents: The candidate must upload scanned copies of necessary documents such as passport-sized photograph and signature.
Payment of Fee: The candidate needs to pay the application fee of Rs. 50/- through online mode.
The applications will be received through online from 22-02-2023 on the website https://tsemrs.telangana.gov.in/ by paying a Fee of Rs.50/-. A screening test will be conducted for admission into VI class and allotment of seats will be done through online merit basis only.
Screening Test Pattern :
The test will be conducted for 100 marks in objective type based on the previous year syllabus. Answers should be identified in the OMR Sheet.
