United Bank of India Update of New IFSC Code for Migrated eAB and eCB Branches
Customers of Andhra Bank and Corp Bank must get new cheque books Union Bank of India (UBI) has said that the IFSC codes of the erstwhile (e)-Andhra Bank and e-Corporation Bank branches will change with effect from April 1, 2021. Customers of the erstwhile banks will have to get new Cheque books with changed IFSC and MICR codes, UBI said in a statement.
The old IFSC codes of branches of these erstwhile banks will not be valid from April 1, 2021. Andhra Bank and Corporation Bank were amalgamated with UBI with effect from April 1, 2020. The IT integration of both the banks has been completed without changing the Account number of customers.
The Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) is used to identify a participating bank branch in the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) Structured Financial Messaging Solution (SFMS) message.Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) Code is used for cheque processing.
United Bank of India (UBI) has asked customers to update new IFSC on mandates given by them and notify remitters about the same. Per the statement, the Bank has requested customers to obtain new cheque book from their branch or apply through mobile app, or Internet Banking or ATM.
The old cheque books of E-Andhra Bank and E-Corporation Bank cannot be used from 01.04.2021. All the customers of these banks are required to get new cheque books. The new IFSC can be obtained by sending SMS to '09223008486' by typing 'IFSC ' . The new IFSC codes are also available on our website under Amalgamation Centre.

నేషనల్ ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ ఫండ్స్ ట్రాన్స్ఫర్ (NEFT) స్ట్రక్చర్డ్ ఫైనాన్షియల్ మెసేజింగ్ సొల్యూషన్ (SFMS) సందేశంలో పాల్గొనే బ్యాంక్ శాఖను గుర్తించడానికి ఇండియన్ ఫైనాన్షియల్ సిస్టమ్ కోడ్ (IFSC) ఉపయోగించబడుతుంది. చెక్ ప్రాసెసింగ్ కోసం మాగ్నెటిక్ ఇంక్ క్యారెక్టర్ రికగ్నిషన్ (MICR) కోడ్ ఉపయోగించబడుతుంది.ఈ మునుపటి బ్యాంకుల శాఖల పాత ఐఎఫ్‌ఎస్‌సి సంకేతాలు ఏప్రిల్ 1, 2021 నుండి చెల్లుబాటు కావు.

ఇ-ఆంధ్ర బ్యాంక్ మరియు ఇ-కార్పొరేషన్ బ్యాంక్ యొక్క పాత చెక్ పుస్తకాలను 01.04.2021 నుండి ఉపయోగించలేము. ఈ బ్యాంకుల వినియోగదారులందరూ కొత్త చెక్ పుస్తకాలను పొందాలి. 'IFSC' అని టైప్ చేసి '09223008486' కు SMS పంపడం ద్వారా కొత్త IFSC పొందవచ్చు. కొత్త IFSC సంకేతాలు అమల్గామేషన్ సెంటర్ క్రింద మా వెబ్‌సైట్‌లో కూడా అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి.
