The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, through its autonomous agency, the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), has launched a large recruitment campaign to fill over 3479 teaching staff vacancies in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) throughout 17 states.
This will result in the positioning of high-quality human resources in the EMRSs, resulting in higher educational standards. b. PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
c. PGT (Mathematics)-Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics
d. PGT (Physics)–Physics / Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
e. PGT (Chemistry) Chemistry/ Bio. Chemistry.
f. PGT (Biology) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/Bio Technology/ Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.

e) For TGT (Science)- Bachelor Degree in Science with any two of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology and Chemistry. AND
(iii) B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
(iv) Pass in the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose, and

Important Notes: Candidates seeking for the position of TGTs must have a valid STET/CTET-Paper -II certificate. Certificates are required to be supplied with the Application Form, if applicable.
Because of the large number of applications, ETSSE 2023 may not include a thorough examination of qualifying requirements, etc. As a result, applications will be considered on a preliminary basis. Those applying in response to the ETSSE 2023 posting should ensure their eligibility for the position applied for.Candidates who are taking or have taken an exam but have not yet received their final results should bring their certificate/score card to the interview. At any point during the recruiting process, even after hiring or joining,
if any of the following is detected, the said applicant will be liable to be disqualified, prosecuted and debarred for all appointments in EMRS, NESTS and her/his application/appointment will be rejected forthwith.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected through Computer Based Test and Personal Interview. The selection of Principal, Vice Principal and PGT shall be by merit in which Computer-Based Test (CBT) carries 160 marks and the personality test/ interview carries 40 marks. However, for TGTs there won’t be a personality test/ interview and the merit shall be determined solely by the computer-based test of 180 marks.
If any of the following are discovered, the candidate will be disqualified, prosecuted, and excluded from all appointments in EMRS and NESTS, and her/his application/appointment
would be refused immediately.
If the applicant provided incorrect information or submitted false documents; or suppressed relevant information; or used unfair means during the recruitment process; or was found guilty of impersonation; or caused disruption in the smooth conduct of the computer-based test at the test center/venue; or uploaded non-human or irrelevant photographs
In the event that a candidate submits numerous applications for the same position, only the most recent application will be considered for further consideration.Candidates will be chosen through a computer-based test and a personal interview. The selection of the Principal, Vice Principal, and PGT will be based on merit, with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) carrying 160 points and the personality test/interview carrying 40 points. However, there will be no personality exam/interview for TGTs, and the merit will be judged purely by the computer-based test of 180 marks.

దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఏకలవ్య ఆదర్శ పాఠశాలల్లో (Eklavya Model Residential Schools) భారీ సంఖ్యలో బోధన, బోధనేతర సిబ్బంది నియామకాలకు నోటిఫికేషన్‌ విడుదలైంది. ఫిబ్రవరి 1న కేంద్ర బడ్జెట్‌ ప్రవేశపెట్టిన సమయంలో దేశంలో వచ్చే మూడేళ్లలో 740 ఏకలవ్య మోడల్‌ రెసిడెన్షియల్‌ పాఠశాలలు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నట్టు ఆర్థికమంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్‌ ప్రకటించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. 3.5లక్షల మంది ఆదివాసీ విద్యార్థులకు విద్యాబోధన అందించడమే లక్ష్యంగా ఈ భారీ రిక్రూట్‌మెంట్‌ చేపట్టనున్నట్టు మంత్రి తెలిపారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా 38వేలకు పైగా కొలువుల జాతరకు రంగం సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నారు. ప్రిన్సిపల్ పోస్టులు మొదలుకొని బోధన, బోధనేతర సిబ్బంది పోస్టులను భర్తీ చేసేందుకు నేషనల్‌ ఎడ్యుకేషనల్‌ సొసైటీ ఫర్‌ ట్రైబల్‌ స్టూడెంట్స్‌ (NESTS) దరఖాస్తులు ఆహ్వానిస్తోంది.*

Ekalavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) Teachers Recruitment - 2021 Details
Ekalavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) is a Government of India Scheme for Model Residential Schools for Indian Tribals (ST, Scheduled Tribes) across India. It is one of the flagship intervention of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India and was introduced in the year 1997-98 to ensure tribal students get access to quality education in the remote tribal areas. On one year outsourcing basis Telangana Tribal Welfare Department is yet to release the Notification to fill up Telugu, Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Art and Craft, Music Teacher, Librarian and Technical Assistant Posts in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states. The ministry of Tribal Affairs through its autonomous body, the National Education Society for Tribal Students has embarked on a major drive to fill around 3479 vacancies of teaching staff in the Ekalavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in 17 states across the country. This will result in positioning of quality human resource in the EMRS resulting in improved educational standards in the EMRSs. The teaching staff in 4 different posts of Principal, Vice Principal, PGTs and TGTs will be recruited through a centralized computer-based test followed by interviews (excluding TGTs) to be conducted by respective States. The recruitment shall be done state-Wise based on the state specific vacancy.
The recruitment drive has been initiated jointly with respective States in order to meet the rising demand of teachers for the clear vacancies in already functional schools and schools gong to be functional this year, calculated after excluding the posts currently filled by regular and ad-hoc/contractual staff. Modalities for the existing ad-hoc/contractual staff shall be taken at a later stage in consultation with different stake holders. The scheme of EMRS is a flagship intervention of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs to provide quality education to the tribal students in the tribal areas of the country. The scheme, in operation since 1998 underwent a major revamping in the year 2018-19 to improve the geographical outreach of the schools to evey block with 50% or more ST population and 20,000 or more tribal persons with an aim to improve accessibility to the schools, Under the revamped scheme, 452 new schools sill be setup in addition to the existing 288 schools thereby taking the total number of schools o 740 in the coming years. Out of these, proposals submitted by states for opening of 100 schools have been finalised, where in construction will start soon.

EMRS Ekalavya Model Residential Schools Educational Qualifications :
I. Four years integrated degree course of Regional college of Education of NCERT in concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate
OR
II. Bachelor degree with atleast 50% marks in the concerned subject /combination of subject and in aggregate.
a. For TGT (Telugu): Third language as a subject in all the three years.
b. For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
c. For TGT (English): English as a subject in all the three years.
d. For TGT (Social Studies): Any two of the following main subject at graduation level: History, Geography, Economics, and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography.
e. For TGT (Maths): Mathematics as main subject at graduation level with one of the following as second subject : Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Economics, Commerce, Statistics.
f. For TGT (Science): Bachelor Degree in science with any two of the following subjects Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.
III. B.Ed or equivalent Degree from a recognized
University.
IV. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper –II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the
guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose OR
TET.
V. Proficiency in teaching in English medium is mandatory.
Desirable:
Experience in in Central Govt organizations (KVS/NVS/CBSE Public schools, Etc...).
Art & Craft Teacher
Bachelor in Fine Art or Higher Secondary / Intermediate / Sr.School Certificate Exam with minimum 5 years (Full Time0 diploma in Fine Art/ Painting / Drawing & Painting from a
recognized Institute / University.
Music Teacher
Essential :
I. Senior Secondary school certificate with 50 % marks or Intermediate with 50 % marks or its equivalent and Bachelor/ Masters Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University.
II. Competence to teach through English Medium.
Desirable:
I. Knowledge of Computer Applications
II. 3 years of experience as a music teacher.
Technical Assistant
I. Bachelor’s degree I Information technology/ BCA from a recognized University/ Institution with 60% marks in the relevant field.
Experience: Post qualification, two year of relevant experience in Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies /Industry of repute.
OR
II. 1st class diploma (3years full time) in Computer Science /IT/Electronics.

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. The candidates have to submit the application through online from the society website www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in by paying a Fee of Rs. 50/- (Fifty rupees only).
2. Mere payment of fee is not sufficient to submit the application form. After successful completion of online payment of fee, every candidate has to completely fill in online application without fail.
3. It is compulsory that, the candidate select the order of preference of school. So that allotment will be made accordingly as per merit and school option.
4. Candidates are advised to take printout of filled in application form immediately after applying.
