Department of Communication & IT Department of Posts, India Recruitment: Department of Posts India invites application from the eligible car driving licensed holders for recruitment of Filling up 16 Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial (Level 3 in the pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) Applications are invited from the eligible Indian citizen for filling up 16 vacancies in the official of the senior Manager, Mail Motor Service, Worli, Mumbai-400018. Candidates those who are interested can apply through offline mode. The last date of application to be received on 15.02.2021.
Scale of Pay Rs.19,900/- (Level 2 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC).
Period of Probation: Two years for Direct Recruits.
The maximum age of the candidate limit for appointment by deputation/absorption shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the the closing date of receipt of applications.
Essential Qualifications:
1). Pass in 10th Standard from Recognized Board or Institute.
2). Desirable qualification : Three years service as home Guard or Civil Volunteers.
3). Possession of valid driving licence for light and Heavy Motor Vehicles.
4). Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle).
5). Experience of driving in Light & Heavy Motor Vehicles at lease for three years.
Selection Method:
Pattern and Syllabus for Trade Test/Driving Test for appointment for the post of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade)
Tradae Test will be conducted in three (3) Stages:
Stage 1 : Test for knowledge of Motor Mechanism ad Traffic Rules, Signals and regulation (Theory).
Stage 2: Test for knowledge of Motor Mechanism and Reserving Vehicle (Practical).
Stage 3 : Test for Forward Driving.
How to Apply: Interested candidates may apply this Sarkari Result in prescribed application form along with all relevant documents and send by speed post or Register post to the Senior Manager, Mail Motor Service, 134-A, S.K. Ahire Marg, Worli, Mumbai-400018 on or before the Last date 15th February,2021.
Application must be signed by the candidates and accompanied with:
1). Photocopies of the following certificates Self Attested by the candidate ) Age proof,ii) Educational Qualification as indicated at Sl.no.1(b)(iv),iii) Driving experience certificate as indicated at SI. No.l(b)(iii),iv) OBC/EWS certificate issued by competent Authority,v) Driving License along with the Extract issued by RTA Concerned
2). One recent passport size photograph self attested by the candidate should be posted in the application form.
Special Instruction to the candidates:
The application should be sent in an envelope super scripting the post applied for addressing to "The Senior Manager, Mail Motor Service, 134-A, S.K. Ahire Marg, Worli, Mumbai-400018" either by speed post or Register post on or before 15.02.2021 and other means will be rejected. Incomplete, Unsigned application are liable to be rejected.Application(s)with out complete information or without copies of requisite certificates or the application(s)enclosing copies of the certificate(s) without self attestation will be rejected straight away without any notice or information.Applications received after due date will be summarily rejected. No allowances and expenses will be paid for attending the test and the candidates will have to bear the cost.The vacancies notified are subject to change without assigning any reasons and Department reserves the right to cancel the recruitment if so warranted.
