Inviting entries from School Children (below 18 years) to support their scientific temperament
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is inviting applications from young innovative students of India below 18 years of age for CSIR Innovation Award for School Children (CIASC) 2020. In this competition, the students are required to submit their original creative designs and technological project proposals aimed at creating novel and utilitarian solutions of new processes/devices/utilities.
The eligible innovations for consideration should be novel and utilitarian for any new concept or idea or design or a solution to an existing problem or completely a new method/device/utility. The concept of the innovation should have been proved through a model, a prototype or an experimental data.
Students can submit their entries as innovation proposals and get a chance to secure scholarship awards up to INR 1 lakh for their ideas. This talent based program also provides students with a chance to avail training-cum-awareness sessions with CSIR officials.
CSIR Prizes :
7 Number of Prizes and Cash award prizes.
There are in all 15 prizes. Besides a certificate, the cash awards are:
First Prize (1 Nos.): Rs. 1,00,000/-
Second Prize (2 Nos.): Rs. 50,000/- each
Third Prize (3 Nos.): Rs. 30,000/- each
Fourth Prize (4 Nos.): Rs. 20,000/- each
Fifth Prize (5 Nos.): Rs. 10,000/- each
How to submit :
Applications should be submitted by hard copy through Registered Post/Courier to the below given address:
Head, CSIR-Innovation Protection Unit, NISCAIR Building, 14 Satsang Vihar Marg, Special Institutional Area, New Delhi – 110 067 with the envelope marked on top left hand corner “CIASC-2020”.
It may please be noted that a hard copy of all applications should be submitted through post with authentication letter (with seal and date) from the School Principal on the innovation claims being made.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF AWARD:
The Award will be announced on or before 26th September, 2020, at New Delhi and would be communicated to the Awardees only. The awards will be given to winners on CSIR Foundation Day i.e. 26th September, 2020. The cost of travel and stay at New Delhi will be borne by CSIR.

స్కూల్ పిల్లలకు లక్ష రూపాయల పోటీ: క్యాష్ ప్రైజెస్
ప్రైవేటు, గవర్నమెంట్ స్కూళ్లలో చదివే పిల్లలకు లక్ష రూపాయల బహుమతి గెలుచుకునే పోటీని సీఎస్ఐఆర్ (CSIR Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) ప్రకటించింది. నిత్యజీవితంలో ఎదురయ్యే ప్రాబ్లమ్స్‌కు పరిష్కారం చూపించే ఇన్నోవేటివ్ ఐడియా మీ దగ్గరుంటే చాలు.. వెంటనే ఈ పోటీలో పాల్గొనండి. పిల్లల్లో ఉన్న కొత్త ఆలోచనలు, కొత్త ఆవిష్కరణలను వెలుగులోకి తెచ్చేందుకు ఈ పోటీని నిర్వహిస్తోంది. 12వ తరగతి లోపు చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థులందరూ పోటీలో పాల్గొనవచ్చు. 18 ఏళ్లలోపు వయస్సుండాలి.

సెకండ్ ప్రైజ్(ఇద్దరికి) రూ.50,000.00 వేలు
థర్డ్ ప్రైజ్(ముగ్గురికి) రూ.30,000.00 వేలు
ఫోర్త్ ప్రైజ్(నలుగురికి) రూ.20,000.00 వేలు
ఫిఫ్త్ ప్రైజ్(ఐదుగురికి) రూ.10,000.00 వేలు

ఇన్నోవేటివ్ ఐడియా లేదా క్రియేటివ్ డిజైన్ లేదా సొల్యూషన్.. ఏదైనా ఇంగ్లిష్ లేదా హిందీలో 5000 పదాలకు మించకుండా రాయాలి. మీ స్కూల్ ప్రిన్సిపల్ ధ్రువీకరణతో పంపించాలి.
చివరి తేదీ; జూన్ 30 . ఆఫ్‌లైన్ లేదా ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో పంపించవచ్చు.
బెస్ట్ 15 ఎంట్రీలకు క్యాష్ ప్రైజ్‌తో పాటు సర్టిఫికెట్ అందిస్తారు.
