Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for Direct Recruitment for the posts of General Duty Medical Officers putely ob Contract basis for the period of one yaer in DME and APVVP to work in Government Medical Colleges and Government General Hospitals Under the Directorate of Medical Education and APVVP Hospitals. who completed MBBS for the position of General Duty Medical Officer.

Notification for Special Recruitment Drive to General Duty Medical Officers on contract basis to work in COVID Hospitals in the State for one year.

AP General Duty Medical Officers Recruitment for 550 posts 

Age Limit
1.  OC candidate should not have completed 40 years as on 01- 05- 2020 (should not have been born before 01-05-1980). 

 2.  SC/ST/BC candidates should not have completed 45 years as on 01- 05-2020 (should not have been born before 01-05-1975).

 3.  Ex-service men should not have completed 50 years as on 01-05- 2020 (should not have born before 01-07-1970)

 4.  Reservations: Rule of Reservations will apply as per A.P. State Govt. Rules in force.

 Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess MBBS.

 Selection Process:

  1. The selection will be based on: Total Marks: 100.
  2. 75 % for Marks obtained in qualifying PG degree / super specialty Examination.
  3. Weightage for No. of years since passing qualifying examination is up to 10 marks @ 01 marks per PG / Super-specialty completed year.
  4. Weightage for Contract service in Govt. Institutions upto15%
  5. 2.5 marks per six months in Tribal Area
  6. 2 marks per six months in Rural Area.
  7. 1 mark per six months in Urban Area.
