District Selection Committee known as DSC is an entrance examination for recruitment of teachers. The AP Govt takes 20% of marks from Teachers Eligibility Test or (TET). The government comes out with the notification for vacant seats every year and the state government gives 80% weightage to DSC and 20% to TET. All the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Graduates are eligible to take the test.
AP TET DSC: The Andhra Pradaesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET-December, 2017) is being conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh in all 13 Districts of the state through Computer Based Test. The objective is to ensure National Standards and Benchmark of Teachers qualilty in the recruitment process in accordance with the Natio;nal Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
