112 App Govt of India Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) Install mobile app is available on Google Play store and Apple store
The emergency number is launched under the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) service will eliminate the need for people to remember multiple helpline numbers.The integrated number will connect to Police, Fire, Health and other helplines through an Emergency Response Centre in the State.
112 Mobile App is a part of the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS), a Govt of India initiative. In an emergency situation, a person in distress may seek for the assistance of local emergency service delivery departments and volunteers through the App.
Seeking help in case of emergency will most probably become easier an integrated support system with a single emergency number 112 to address different kinds of emergencies for the citizens. The emergency number is launched under the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) and has been designed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing(CDAC).

'112 India' all-in-one emergency helpline mobile app
A '112 India' mobile app was also launched on Google Playstore and Apple store by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
It provides a special 'SHOUT' feature for women and children, which alerts registered volunteers close to the victim for immediate assistance. Panic call feature in India's all-in-one emergency helpline number
112 emergency helpline has another unique feature:
For smartphones: In any emergency situation, you need to press the power button three times quickly on your smartphones to activate a panic call to the Emergency Response Centre (ERC).
For normal phones: You need to long press number '5' or '9' to activate a panic call through your normal phones.
Features of the app:
- Providing single panic app across the country for addressing citizen emergency.
- Providing 24 x 7, efficient and effective response system, which can involve local volunteers from citizens to provide efficient emergency response service.
- Identification of location of person in distress connecting through voice or data.
- Timely dispatch of field resources (police, health, fire & disaster management) to the location of incidence using the system.
- Integrated with existing emergency response systems - Police (100), Fire (101), Health (108) and Women helpline (1090).
- It aims to make the operations citizen-friendly, more transparent, and efficient and provides citizen profile management and feedback mechanisms.
- It will also help to keep track of the progress of incidents and the services delivered taking emergency services to the next level.
అత్యవసర సేవలన్నింటీకి డయల్ 112, పూర్తి సమాచారం మీ కోసం
ఆపద సమయాల్లో ఇకపై 112 నంబర్‌కు డయల్ చేస్తే చాలు. అన్ని రకాల అత్యవసర సేవలు అందుబాటులోకి రానున్నాయి. ఇప్పటివరకు ఉన్న పోలీస్ డయల్ 100, ఫైర్ డయల్ 101, అంబులెన్స్ డయల్ 108, వుమెన్ హెల్ప్లైన్ డయల్ 1090 నంబర్లకు బదులుగా.. ఒక్క నంబర్ డయల్ 112 లోనే నాలుగురకాల సేవలు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకొచ్చేందుకు కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ కసరత్తు పూర్తిచేసింది.
ఏకీకృత అత్యవసర హెల్ప్లైన్ నంబర్ '112’ను 11 రాష్ట్రాలు, 5 కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతాల్లో ప్రారంభించారు. పౌరుల భద్రత, ప్రత్యేకించి మహిళల రక్షణ కోసం కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుబడి ఉందని '112’ను ప్రారంభించిన సందర్భంగా కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రి రాజ్‌నాథ్‌ సింగ్‌ తెలిపారు. సేఫ్‌ సిటీ ప్రాజెక్టు మొదటి దశ అమలు చేయడానికి అహ్మదాబాద్, బెంగళూరు, చెన్నై, ఢిల్లీ, హైదరాబాద్, కోల్‌కతా, లక్నో, ముంబై నగరాల్లో నిర్భయ ఫండ్‌ కింద రూ.2,919 కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేయనున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.
వీలైనంత తక్కువ సమయంలో ఆపదలో ఉన్నవారు ఈజీగా ఫిర్యాదు చేసేందుకు.. వీలైనంత తక్కువ సమయంలో అవసరానికి ఆదుకొనేందుకు పోలీస్, ఫైర్, అంబులెన్స్, మహిళా రక్షణ సేవలను ఒకే గొడుగు కిందికి తీసుకొచ్చారు. 112 కు డయల్ చేసి సేవల గురించి చెప్పగానే.. సంబంధిత శాఖ అధికారులకు సమాచారం వెళ్లి సహాయం అందించేందుకు వీలు చిక్కనున్నది. తొలివిడతగా గతేడాది హిమాచల్‌ప్రదేశ్‌లో ప్రయోగాత్మకంగా అమలుచేసి మంచి ఫలితాలు సాధించారు. తొలివిడతగా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, తెలంగాణ, ఉత్తరాఖండ్, పంజాబ్, కేరళ, మధ్యప్రదేశ్, రాజస్తాన్, ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్, తమిళనాడు, గుజరాత్, కశ్మీర్‌ రాష్ట్రాలతో పాటు కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతాల్లో దీన్ని ప్రారంభించారు.
కొత్తగా అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకొచ్చిన డయల్ 112 నంబర్‌కు ఫోన్ చేసి మన అత్యవసర పరిస్థితి ఏంటి? ఏ సేవలు (పోలీస్, ఫైర్, మహిళా హెల్ప్లైన్, అంబులెన్స్) కావాలి? అనేది కాల్‌సెంటర్ సిబ్బందికి చెబితే వెంటనే సంబంధిత విభాగానికి అనుసంధానం చేస్తారు. అప్పుడు మనం ఫిర్యాదు చేసి, అత్యవసర సేవలు పొందవచ్చు.
112 హెల్ప్లైన్ కింద ప్రస్తుతం ఎమర్జెన్సీ రెస్పాన్స్ సపోర్ట్ సిస్టం (ఎఆర్‌ఎస్‌ఎస్‌) కింద ప్రవేశపెట్టిన 112 హెల్ప్లైన్ కింద ప్రస్తుతం పోలీసు (100), ఫైర్ (101), మహిళల హెల్ప్లైన్ (1090)లను అనుసంధానించగా, త్వరలోనే హెల్త్‌ హెల్ప్లైన్ (108)ను కూడా చేర్చనున్నారు. సెంటర్ ఫర్ డెవలప్‌మెంట్ ఆఫ్ అడ్వాన్స్‌డ్ కంప్యూటింగ్ (సీడాక్) ఎమర్జెన్సీ రెస్పాన్స్ సపోర్ట్ సిస్టం (ఈఆర్‌ఎస్సెస్) లో భాగంగా డయల్ 112ను రూపొందించారు.
గూగుల్ ప్లేస్టోర్‌లో స్మార్ట్ ఫోన్లలో గూగుల్ ప్లేస్టోర్‌లో లేదా ఆపిల్ ప్లేస్టోర్ నుంచి 112 ఇండియా యాప్‌ను డౌన్‌లోడ్ చేసుకొంటే సరిపోతుంది. అత్యవసర సమయాల్లో యాప్‌లోకి వెళ్లి షౌట్ బటన్‌ను ప్రెస్‌చేసి పట్టుకొంటే దానికదే ఆ పరిధిలోని పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు పంపుతుంది.
