NEW DELHI: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issued a short notification for Officers Grade B Recruitment Notification 2019. According to the notification, there are around 199 Officers Grade B vacancies to be filled through the examination. Out of 199, there are 156 vacancies for officer in grade B (DR) general, 20 for officer in grade B (DR) Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR), and 23 for officer in grade B (OR) Department of Statistics and Information Managemet (DSIM).

RBI Grade B 2019 Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for RBI Grade B exam, candidates should fulfil the following criteria-

Age Eligibility

To qualify in the RBI exam the minimum required age is 21 years and maximum age 30 years.

If a candidate possesses M.Phil and Ph.D. degree, the upper age limits in these cases are 32 and 34 years respectively. Educational Qualification [for RBI Grade B (General)]

Category Educational Qualification

Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - (General) Graduation degree with a minimum of 60% marks is required as well as in 12th & 10th examination.
Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - DEPR Master degree in economics with a minimum of 55% marks.
Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - DSIM Master degree in statistics/mathematical statistics/mathematical economics/econometrics/statistics
& informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ applied
statistics & informatics from IIT-Bombay
with a minimum of 55% marks.
