Gramin Dak Sevak Application Form 2019: India Post (Bharatiya Dak Vibhag) has invited application for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). As per the recent India Post Recruitment (Gramin Dak Sevak recruitment) notice 2019-20, a total of 10,066 vacancies has been released for Assam, Bihar, Gujrat, Karnataka, Kerala, and Punjab. This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking government job in the Bharatiya Dak Vibhag.

India Post has invited online application for the recruitment of 10,066 vacancies of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) in the post circles of Bihar, Assam, Punjab, Gujarat, Kerala and Karnataka.The India Post GDS online application starts from August 5 and will continue till September 4, 2019. All the interested and eligible candidates can now apply for the post of GDS.However, before applying candidates will have to go through some essential details to apply for the available vacancies. The candidates for all approved categories of GDS referred to in (i) above will be required to furnish Basic Computer Training Course Certificate of at least 60 days duration from any Computer Training Institute.

Knowledge of Cycling is a pre-requisite condition for all GDS posts. In case of a candidate having knowledge of riding a scooter or motor cycle, that may be considered as knowledge of cycling. The candidate has to submit a declaration to this effect

GDS Educational Qualification :

Candidate must have passed 10th class with Mathematics and English as compulsory or elective subjects.
The candidate must have studied the local language at least up to class 10 as compulsory or as elective subjects.

Pay Scale:

BPM ------ Minimum TRCA for 4 Hours/Level 1 in TRCA Slab---Rs.12,000/- Rs.14,500/-

ABPM/Dak Sevak----- Minimum TRCA for 5 hours/Level 2 in TRCA slab--- Rs.10,000/- Rs.12,000/-

Procedure to Apply

1. Visit the official website – appost.in
2. Click on the link “Register Here“. Enter the details such as name, mobile number, gender, date of birth, category, etc.
3. Verify your mobile number with the OTP received. A unique registration number will be generated.
4. Pay the application fees through online mode or offline mode by visiting the head post office.
5. Fill up the GDS online application form using the registration number and other details. Upload your prescribed educational certificates,  photo and signature in the prescribed formats and click on “Submit Details” button.
6. Take a print out of the filled application form for future reference.

Candidates can also check their GDS application status by clicking on the link Application Status and by entering the required credentials.

The fee amount can also be paid through online mode by using the URL provided in the Home Page. Payment can be done y Credit/Debit Cards and Net Banking.Candidates must note that the once the details of registration or of application are submitted the details cannot be modified. The eligible candidates will be selected as per the automatic generated merit list.
