General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) Recruitment : General Insurance Corporation of India has released a notification for the recruitment of officer scale-I in the cadre of 44 Assistant Managers. 1). Finance Chartered Accountants Post : B. Com Degree from a recognised University with at least 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and at least 55% marks for
SC/ST category candidates OR any equivalent qualification recognised as such by
Central Government with the prescribed benchmark.
2). General Posts : Graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks for General and OBC candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST candidates from a recognized university
3). Legal Post : Candidates must possess LLB/BL degree from a recognised University with at least 60% marks in degree for General & OBC candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST candidates or any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Central
Government with the prescribed benchmark.
4). Insurance Post : Graduation in any discipline should have at least 60% marks for General & OBC category candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST category
candidates or any equivalent qualification by any recognised university

For General Candidates : Processing & Exam Fee: Rs. 850/- (plus GST @ 18%)
For SC/ ST/ PwD Candidates & the employees of GIC and GIPSA Member Companies: Nil

Step 1: Ggo to the GIC Official Website.
Step 2: Click on APPLY ONLINE.
Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’ and enter your Name, Contact Details and Email Id.
Step 4: A provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated. Keep a
note of the same.
Step 5: Enter all the information and click on ‘Save and Next’
Step 6 : Candidates should scan and upload their photograph and signature, ensuring
that both the photograph and signature are according to the required specifications.
Step 7: Click on the payment tab and pay the payment.
Step 8: Finally verify all the details and press the ‘Submit’ button, and take a print
out for further reference.
GIC - Salary Details:
Salary Scale of Rs.32795-1610(14)-55335-1745(4)-62315 is based on the basic pay of
Rs.32,795/- per month.
