Osmania University Centre of Distance Education offers various UG and PG courses. These programs include BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, MA, M.Com., M.Sc. and PG Diploma courses. Admission to these courses is direct, however, University has specified a basic eligibility criteria for admission in each course.

Osmania University offers various distance education program under Prof. G. Ram Reddy Centre (PGRRCDE). These programs are recognized by the Distance Education Bureau (DEB), New Delhi. Osmania University Distance Education department offers MA, M.Sc, MBA, MCA and M.Com courses at the PG level along with PG Diploma courses. At the UG level, PGRRCDE, OU offers BA, BBA and B.Com courses in various disciplines.

Admission to a bachelor’s course is granted to candidates having passed 10+2. Similarly, a relevant master’s degree is must have for admission to postgraduate courses offered by the Osmania University Centre of Distance Education.

Candidates can register themselves to the above mentioned courses by submitting the application fee of INR 300/- by DD. The application form of the university is available at the university website.

Eligibility Criteria:

B.Com , BBA/BBM & BA:
Eligibility of above given courses is given below:

1.Candidates must have passed two years intermediate examination conducted by this university or any other recognized university.
2.For admission in BA, candidates should have studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the optional at Intermediate or its equivalent.
3.Candidates who have passed any Diploma course through Polytechnic of Telangana are also eligible to apply.

MA:

Graduation from a recognised university.

MA Psychology:

Graduation with Psychology as one of the subjects in BA or Bachelor of Mentally Retarded (BMR) / Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)/ M.Ed. / MA (Education) / M.Sc. (Home Science) / Diploma in Child Psychology / Diploma in Industrial Psychology

M.Com:
B.Com. from a recognised university.

M.Sc. Mathematics:
B.A/B.Sc. / BE/ B.Tech. and should have studied the Mathematics as one of the subjects at UG level.

M.Sc. Statistics:
B.A/B.Sc. with Mathematics or Statistics as a main subject.

PG Diploma:
Graduation from a recognised university.

PG Diploma in Town and Country Planning:
B.A., or B.Sc., Degree with Geography, B.Arch., B.Planning or B.E. (Civil Eng.) or M.A. or M.Sc. (Geography)

Note:

Candidates who have studied PG Diploma in Mathematics are also eligible to apply for M.Sc. Mathematics.
Candidates who have passed AMIE Degree Course in Mechanical Engineering Examination conducted by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, Bombay can also apply for M.Sc. Mathematics.

Candidates can register themselves to the above mentioned courses by submitting the application fee of INR 300/- through DD.
Total fee can be paid through one Demand Draft in favour of the Director, PGRR Centre for Distance Education Bureau, OU, Hyderabad

Necessary Documents for UG Course:

Demand Draft in favour of the Director, PGRR Centre for Distance Education, O.U
Three Passport size photographs, taken recently.
Original certificates of 10 and 10+2 and along with one Photocopy of each (Originals will be returned soon after admission).
Original marksheet of 10+2.
Transfer Certificate in original, from the college, last studied.
In the case of SC/ST/BC, enclose a Photocopy of Caste Certificate. In the case of Physically Handicapped (PHC) enclose a Photo copy of Certificate.
One self-addressed stamped envelope 14" x 10" (with Rs.60/- affixed) to return the original certificates, (for those applying through post).
Submit Original Migration Certificate only along with the Examination Application Form of First year

Four recent Passport size photographs.
S.S.C Intermediate and BA / B.Sc./ B.Com. / B.E./ B.Tech. Degree Original and Certificate with One Photostat copy,
Original with One photostat copy of the Marks Memo of Qualifying examination
BA / B.Sc. / B.Com. 3 years memo of marks.
Transfer Certificate in original, from the college, last studied. (NOT RETURNABLE)
In case of SC/ST/BC enclose a Photostat copy of Caste certificate. In case of Physically Handicapped (PHC) enclose a photo copy of Certificate
A self addressed-stamped-envelope 14" x 10" (with Rs.50/- affixed) to return the original certificates, (for those applying through post).

S.S.C and Intermediate, Graduation marksheets and Degree Certificate Original with One Xerox copy
In case of SC/ST/BC enclose a Xerox copy of Caste Certificate. In the case of Physically Handicapped (PHC) enclose a Xerox copy of PHC Certificate.
One self addressed stamped envelope 14" x 10" (with Rs. 60/- affixed) to return the original certificates, (for those applying through post).

Application form for all the courses can be filled online followed by document verification at the distance education centre.
MBA and MCA admission is based on a valid score in TS ICET or AP ICET. Apart from these tests, PGRRCDE also conducts an entrance test to offers admission in MBA and MCA courses.
Admission to all other UG and PG courses is merit-based. Seats are allotted on the basis of candidates’ marks in the qualifying degree.

Application form can be filled by following the below-listed steps:

Visit ‘Osmania University Distance Education’ portal and click on ‘Online Services’.
Register and fill the application form.
Pay INR 300 as registration fee by Credit/Debit Card or through Net-Banking.
Upload photograph and signature and submit the application form.
After form submission, visit PGRRCDE, Osmania University for certificate verification.
