As per theCSE TS Proceedings, all the DEOs , MEOs and HMs in Telangana State should follow the below prcedding on awareness creation and community education activities (Jan Andolan)under Jal Shakti Abhiyan and conduct rally at mandal level on 15.07.2019 without fail and submit compliance report as per porforma mailed to you. As per instructions are given by the Higher Authorities, Conduct Elocution competition on awareness creation and community eduction activities under Jal shakti Ahiyan on 15.07.2019 at your school. And also following activities should be conducted in your schools
1. Public Rallies
2. Nukkad nataks
3. Plantation drives
4. Workshops
5. Seminars/Lectures
6. Painting Competitions
7. Debates and any other activities as part of Jai Shakti Ahiyan.

జిల్లా గ్రామీణ అభివృద్ధి సంస్థ ఉత్తర్వులు మేరకు ప్రతి పాఠశాలలో జల సంరక్షణ కార్యాక్రమాలు అమలు పరుచుటకు ఈ క్రింది సూచనలు జారీ చేయనైనది.
ప్రతి పాఠశాల ( ఈకో క్లబ్ ) పర్యావరణ క్లబ్ లు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి. దీనికి ఒక ఉపాధ్యాయులు (జీవశాస్త్రం/సాంఘిక /పి.ఇ.టి/ ఇతర ) నాయకుడిగా ఉండి ప్రతి తరగతి నుండి ఒక ప్రతి నిధిని తీసుకోవాలి.
సంఘ సభ్యులు ప్రతి బుధవారం చివరి పీరియడ్ నందు జల సంరక్షణపై వర్షాకాలం (జూలై
నుంచి నవంబర్ వరకు) అవగాహన కార్యక్రమాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి. పాఠశాల వాటర్ ట్యాంక్
శుభ్రపరిచి / అవకాశం ఉన్న చోట ఇంకుడు గుంతలు ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవాలి

❁ జల వనరుల / నీటి గుంతలు ఏర్పాటు.

✸ జిల్లా వ్యాప్తంగా తేది: 15.07.2019 రోజు పాఠశాల జల సంరక్షణ దినోత్సవంగా జరపాలి.
✸ ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులు / ఇతర వ్యక్తులు పిల్లలకు ప్రార్థన సమయంలో దీని పై అవగాహణ
కల్పించాలి.
✸ అదే రోజు సాయంత్రము చివరి పీరియడ్ నందు జల సంరక్షణ పై (వ్యాస రచన లేక
ఉపన్యాస లేదా నాటక ప్రదర్శన కార్యక్రమాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి...
✸ ఆవరణ లో మానవ హారం ఏర్పాటు చేసి జల సంరక్షణ పై నినాదాలు చేయించాలి.
✸ పాఠశాల స్థాయి కార్యక్రమం ఫోటోలు / వీడియోలు మండల విధ్యాధికారి గారికి
పంపించాలి.

Read:- D.O. No.1-1/2019-JS(EE.I), dt.09.07.2019 of the Joint Secretary(EE), Govt of
India, Ministry of Human Resource Development Dept of School Education & Literacy, Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi 110 115. While enclosing herewith a copy of the D.O. Letter dated. 09.07.2019 in the reference read above is herewith communicated to all the District Educational Officers in the State are instructed to mobilize the community at large, Jan Andolan for various activities related to
water conservation may be carried out in each school of our state /UT on 15th July, 2019. Students of all schools from class VI (awareness ambassadors) onwards may be involved to carry out mass awareness creation and community education activities including rallies nukkad nataks, plantation drives, workshops, seminars, as part of Jan Andolan.
Therefore, they are requested to conduct these activities on 15 July, 2019 and gather the data on number of students participation and number of activities carried out from the field level in attached format (Annexure-I) and submit the compiled information to email jsamhrd2019 @ gmail with a copy to the corresponding consultant assigned to State/UT (list enclosed at Annexure-II) by 16 July, 2019. In addition, high definition photographs on the field level activities, curated at State/UT level they also be shared to the same email ids. This is treated as most urgent
About Jal Shakti Abhiyan
Phase I: 1st July to 15th September 2019 (all States)
Phase II: 1st October to 30th November 2019 (States with retreating monsoon)
Inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s impetus on Jal Sanchay, the Jal Shakti Abhiyan (JSA) is a time-bound, mission-mode water conservation campaign. The JSA will run in two Phases: Phase 1 from 1st July to 15th September 2019 for all States and Union Territories; and Phase 2 from 1st October to 30th November 2019 for States and UTs receiving the retreating monsoon (Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Puducherry and Tamil Nadu). During the campaign, officers, groundwater experts and scientists from the Government of India will work together with state and district officials in India’s most water-stressed districts* for water conservation and water resource management by focusing on accelerated implementation of five target intervention. The JSA aims at making water conservation a Jan Andolan through asset creation and extensive communication. *Water-stressed districts: Districts with critical or over-exploited groundwater levels as per the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) 2017. For states without critical and over-exploited groundwater levels, districts with the least availability of groundwater in comparison to the rest of the districts in the state have been selected.
Jal Shakti Abhiyan for Water Conservation Launched:
Coordinated Action Rolls out following Prime Minister’s Clarion CallUnion Jal Shakti Minister, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has announced the commencement of the Jal Shakti Abhiyan - a campaign for water conservation and water security. The campaign will run through citizen participation during the monsoon season, from 1st July, 2019 to 15th September, 2019. An additional Phase 2 will be run from 1st October, 2019 to 30th November, 2019 for States receiving the North East retreating monsoons. The focus of the campaign will be on water stressed districts and blocks.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, in his Mann Ki Baat address on June 30 had given a clarion call to citizens to join hands for water conservation and create a jan-andolan along the lines of the Swachh Bharat Mission, to save water and secure the future. The Prime Minister invited ideas, traditional knowledge, initiatives undertaken, success stories, and films made on water conservation from common citizens, celebrities and NGOs alike.
The Minister also released video of a public service announcement carrying the message of the Prime minister for all citizens to join the water conservation efforts in a proactive manner. To ensure five important water conservation interventions. These will be water conservation and rainwater harvesting, renovation of traditional and other water bodies/tanks, reuse, bore well recharge structures, watershed development and intensive afforestation. These water conservation efforts will also be supplemented with special interventions including the development of Block and District Water Conservation Plans, promotion of efficient water use for irrigation and better choice of crops through Krishi Vigyan Kendras.
A large-scale communications campaign has also been planned alongside the JSA involving mass mobilisation of different groups including school students, college students, swachhagrahis, Self Help Groups, Panchayati Raj Institution members, youth groups (NSS/NYKS/NCC), defence personnel, ex-servicemen and pensioners, among various others.
