The main motto of this YSR Amma Vodi Scheme 2019 is to offer financial help to mothers to provide education to their children. As per the announced Manifesto (NAVARATHNALU), the YSRCP Government will change the look of the public schools in the Andhra Pradesh state within two years from this year. This shall ensure that families don’t compel their children leaving school due to lack of money.

The decision to launch the AP Amma Vodi Scheme was taken in the 1st cabinet meeting of AP government headed by CM Jagan. Through this Amma Odi 2019 Scheme, the government provides INR 15000 as a Financial Assistance per year to all the mothers who will send their children to schools. Furthermore, this YSR Amma Vodi Scheme will be a fully government funded scheme and it is as per the election promise of the YSR Government. కొద్దిరోజులుగా అమ్మ ఒడి పథకంపై స్పష్టత లేకుండా పోయింది. ఈ పథకం ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలలకేనా.. ప్రైవేట్ స్కూళ్లకు వవర్తిస్తుందా అన్న సందిగ్ధం ఉంది. ఇదే విషయంపై కొద్దిరోజులుగా చర్చ జరుగుతోంది. ఏ స్కూలుకు పంపినా రూ.15వేలు అందజేస్తారని ప్రచారం జరిగింది. విద్యావేత్తలు కూడా ఈ పథకాన్ని కేవలం ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలలకే వర్తింప చేయాలని అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. అందుకే తల్లిదండ్రులకు అనుమానాలు లేకుండా ప్రభుత్వం క్లారిటీ ఇచ్చినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
AP Amma Vodi Scheme 2019-2020 Benefits
- The cabinet has decided that all the students who are studying in private and public schools are eligible for Amma Vodi Scheme.
- Amma Vodi Scheme 2019-2020 would encourage all the poor families to send their children to school
- The main objective of this scheme is to send children to school.
- It will kill the child labor and educate the next coming generation children.
- A financial Assistant of Rs. 15,000/- will be given to all the mothers who send their children to schools.
- This student welfare scheme would promote education among children and reduce the dropout rate of students.
- There will be an increase in the literacy rate through this scheme.
- It would result in the higher education rate of children and would enable them to lead a life of dignity and honor.
Eligibility:
1. The beneficiary i.e., Mother/Guardian is eligible for Rs.15,000/- per annum irrespective of number of children of that family studying from class I to XII.
2. The Mother of the child should be from household that is below the poverty line as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
3. The Family should be in possession of a White Ration Card issued by the Government. Family is defined as Father, Mother and dependent children.
4. The beneficiary/Mother shall possess valid Aadhar card or having applied & verified.
5. To the extent possible the Aadhar card details of children studying between Classes I to XII be made available. The Aadhar details shall be collected only with the consent of beneficiary.
6. In case of the demise or absence of the Mother, the quantum of Rs.15,000/- shall be paid to the natural Guardian of the child.
7. The valid ration card data base shall be subjected to the 6 step validation.
8. The Children of the beneficiary should be studying in Classes I to XII in Government/ Private Aided/Private Un Aided Schools/ Junior Colleges recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh including Residential Schools/Jr.Colleges.
9. For orphans/ street children, who are admitted in schools through voluntary organization, this benefit will be extended in consultation with Department concerned.
10. The mother/beneficiary shall ensure at least 75% attendance of the children.
11. If the child/children discontinue their studies in the middle of the academic year, they will not be eligible for the benefit for that academic year. However all efforts shall be made to bring back that child to the school.
12. The students studying in the eligible institutions in Classes I to XII shall be taken as a single cohort for identifying the beneficiary mothers for grant of incentive under the scheme.
13. State/Central Government and PSU Employees, Government employee pensioners (including PSU, Central Govt etc), Income tax payers are not eligible for claiming financial assistance under this scheme.
Mode of Payment:
1. Every beneficiary /Mother should have Savings Bank Account in any Nationalized Bank or Post Office in the vicinity of the Village.
2. The amount of Rs.15,000/- shall be transferred to the beneficiary’s unencumbered Bank Account in the month of January every year through online till the child continues his/her Education upto Class XII.
3. The financial assistance shall not be continued to the Child beyond completion of Class XII.

అయితే ఎక్కడ చదువుతున్నారనే దానితో సంబంధం లేకుండా ప్రతీ విద్యార్థికీ ఏటా రూ. 15 వేలు సాయం చేస్తామని ఎన్నికల సమయంలో ఇచ్చిన హామీకే జగన్ కట్టుబడినట్లుగా తెలుస్తుంది. ఈ మేరకు ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రవేటు పాఠశాలలలో చదివే విద్యార్థుల తల్లికి ఈ పథకం కింద డబ్బు ఇవ్వాలని జగన్ నిర్ణయించినట్లుగా తెలుస్తుంది. పేద విద్యార్ధులు అందరికీ వర్తింపు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు.

ఇంటర్ విద్యార్థులకు కూడా ‘అమ్మ ఒడి’ పథకం వర్తింపు Updated on 28-06-2019 ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్ జగన్‌మోహన్‌రెడ్డి ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా భావిస్తున్న ‘అమ్మ ఒడి’ పథకాన్ని ఇంటర్మీడియట్‌ విద్యార్థులకు కూడా వర్తింస్తుందని ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించింది. జూన్ 27న విద్యాశాఖపై సీఎం వైఎస్ జగన్ నిర్వహించిన సమీక్ష సమావేశంలో ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. ప్రభుత్వం, ప్రైవేట్ జూనియర్ కాలేజీలతోపాటు హాస్టల్లో ఉంటూ చదివేవారు, రెసిడెన్షియల్ హాస్టళ్లలో ఉండే వారికి కూడా ఇకపై అమ్మ ఒడి పథకం వర్తిస్తుందని ప్రభుత్వం ప్రటించింది. ఈ పథకం కింద తెల్లరేషన్‌ కార్డు ఉన్న ప్రతి తల్లికి ఏటా రూ.15 వేలు ప్రభుత్వం అందజేస్తుంది. మొదటగా కేవలం పదో తరగతిలోపు విద్యార్థులకే ఈ పథకంఅమలు చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం భావించింది. సీఎం వైఎస్ జగన్ కూడా పాదయాత్ర సమయంలో ప్రజలకు ఇదే హామీ ఇచ్చారు. కానీ జూన్ 27న నిర్వహించని సమీక్ష సమావేశంలో సీఎం జగన్ ఈ పథకాన్ని ఇంర్మీడియట్‌ విద్యార్థులకు వర్తింపజేస్తూ అనూహ్య నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు.
