JNAFAU FINE ARTS AND DESIGN ENTRANCE EXAMINATION - 2023
Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad, or JNAFAU 2023, is the official name. Important Instructions:
- The hall ticket may be downloaded from the website www.jnafauadmissions.com by registered candidates, who must present it on the day of the exam without fail or they will not be permitted to take the test. Before four days of the entrance exam, the website will make the tickets available.
- The minimum cutoff marks to qualify in the Entrance Examination is 35% for all categories.
- The Entrance Exam will be held in Hyderabad only.

JNAFAU 2019 Application form has been Released on 15th May 2019 for BFA & B.Design (FADEE). JNAFAU (Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University), Hyderabad conducts an admission procedure to provide admission to the eligible applicants in four years’ bachelor of fine arts and a bachelor of design courses offered in the university and its affiliated college. In order to get admission in the university, applicants need to appear for the entrance exam which is known as JNAFAU Entrance Exam 2019. JNAFAU 2019 Exam will be held on 29th & 30th May 2019 for BFA & B.Design.
Eligibility candidates who wish to apply may fill the application forms online for each course separately by visiting the University Websites www.jnafau.ac.in or www.jnafauadmissions.com. Registration has to be paid online only for Rs 1,200/- In case of SC ST Candidates Rs 600/- .
Kindly note that the application from and fee payment has to be submitted online only.
The last date for online application and fee payment is 15.06.2019 (withou lae fee)
With late fee of Rs 3,000/- up to 22-06-2019

JNAFAU 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The important information related to the eligibility criteria is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:For Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) course:
Educational qualifications:
One must have completed Intermediate or any equivalent exam from a recognized university or board/council of India.
For Bachelor of Design (B. Des) or (interior designing) course:
Educational qualifications:
Intermediate or any equivalent exam from a recognized board/council of India should be completed.
JNAFAU 2019 Exam Paper Pattern
The entrance exam consists of different papers of different courses as mentioned below:For BFA (painting, animation, sculpture, applied art) course:
Paper A:
This paper will contain object drawing questions of maximum 100 marks.
Only 90 minutes duration will be given to the applicants to solve the paper.
Paper B:
Applicants need to appear memory drawing coloring type questions in paper B of 100 marks.
90 minutes will be provided to the applicants to solve the paper from the authority.
Paper C:
Applicants need to appear Objective type questions in the entrance exam.
The question paper will consist of 50 marks and should be solved within 50 minutes only.
For BFA (photography) course:
Paper D:
This paper consists of 100 marks which include some questions like compositions and visual communication.
Applicants will get one hour 30 minutes to solve the paper.
Paper E:
The question paper will contain objective type multiple choice questions.
50 marks question paper will be asked which should be solved within 50 minutes.
For B. Design (Interior Design) course:
Paper F:
The question paper comprises of 200 marks and applicants need to complete the paper within three hours.
Official authorities will not provide any extra time limit to the applicants to solve the paper.
