TS Agriculture POLYCET for Admission to PJTSAU:
Telangana Polycet scores are used to determine admissions to Professor Jaya Shankar Telangana State Agricultural University's Agriculture Polytechnic Diploma program.

The PJTSAU has released the TS Agriculture Polytechnic Notification 2024 for admission into the Telangana State Agricultural University's agricultural diploma courses.

5. If the admitted candidate cancels his/her seat after the closure of admissions process for the AY 2024-25, the candidate forfeits the fees already paid and in addition, he/she has to pay processing fee of Rs. 1,000/-.

- The candidates who wish to seek admission into Diploma Courses of PJTSAU should have appeared for POLYCET-2020 under Agricultural stream conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Hyderabad.
- Candidate should have passed SSC Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, T.S./A.P. or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, T.S./A.P. such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society(TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X Class Examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Science as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.

పదో తరగతి పూర్తయిన గ్రామీణ ప్రాంత విద్యార్థులకు అగ్రికల్చర్ పాలిటెక్నిక్ కోర్సులు వరంగా మారాయి. రెండేళ్ల కోర్సు చేసిన వారికి ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రైవేట్ సంస్థల్లో ఉద్యోగ, ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు మెండుగా ఉండటంతో వీటికి డిమాండ్ పెరిగింది. ముఖ్యంగా వ్యవసాయంపై మక్కువ ఉన్నవారు, రైతుబిడ్డలు మరింత వ్యవసాయ విజ్ఞానాన్ని పొంది, సాగు చేసే పంటల్లో అధిక దిగుబడులు సాధించే అవకాశం ఉంది. ఈ కోర్సులు చేసిన తర్వాత ఉన్నత విద్యనభ్యసించాలంటే ఎంసెట్తో సంబంధం లేకుండా బీఎస్సీ(అగ్రికల్చర్) కోర్సులో చేరవచ్చు. డిప్లొమా చేసిన వారికి బీఎస్పీ అగ్రికల్చర్లో 10 నుంచి 15 శాతం సీట్లు రిజర్వ్ చేస్తారు.

దరఖాస్తులను బట్టి సీట్లను కౌన్సెలింగ్ పద్ధతిలో భర్తీ చేస్తా రు. రాష్ట్రంలో ఉన్న 9 ప్రభుత్వ వ్యవసాయ పాలిటెక్నిక్ కాలేజీల్లో 200 సీట్లు, 7 ప్రైవేట్ కాలేజీల్లో 420 సీట్లు ఉన్నాయి. విత్తన సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానం(సీడ్ టెక్నాలజీ)లో... ఒక ప్రభుత్వ కాలేజీలో 20 సీట్లు, ఒక ప్రైవేట్ కాలేజీలో 60 సీట్లు ఉన్నాయి. అలాగే మూడేళ్ల అగ్రికల్చర్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ డిప్లొమాలో.. ఒక ప్రభుత్వ కళాశాలలో 20 సీట్లు, మూడు ప్రైవేట్ కాలేజీల్లో 90 సీట్లు ఉన్నాయి. ఇటీవల నూతనంగా వికారాబాద్ జిల్లా గింగుర్తిలో ప్రవేశపెట్టిన సేంద్రియ వ్యవసాయం డిప్లొమా కోర్సుల్లో 60 సీట్లు ఉన్నాయి. ఈ ఏడాది నుంచి అగ్రికల్చర్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ డిప్లొమా మూడేళ్లు, అగ్రికల్చర్, సీడ్ టెక్నాలజీ, సేంద్రియ వ్యవసాయం రెండేళ్ల డిప్లొమా కోర్సులను సైతం ఇంగ్లిష్ మీడియంలో చదవాల్సి ఉంటుంది.

ఈ ఏడాదికి గాను రెండేళ్ల అగ్రికల్చర్ పాలిటెక్నిక్, సీడ్ టెక్నాలజీ కోర్సులతో పాటు మూడేళ్ల అగ్రికల్చర్ ఇంజినీరింగ్కు సంబంధించిన నోటిఫికేషన్ శుక్రవారం విడుదలైంది. ఈ కోర్సులు చదివేందుకు పదో తరగతి చదివిన విద్యార్థులు అర్హులు. ఇంటర్మీడియట్, ఆపైన చదివిన వారు అనర్హులు. పదేళ్ల చదువు కాలంలో కనీసం నాలుగేళ్ల పాటు గ్రామీణ పాంత్రాల్లో(మున్సిపల్ ఏరియా కాకుండా) చదివిన వారు అర్హులు. అభ్యర్థి వయసు డిసెంబర్ 31, 2020 నాటికి 15–22 ఏళ్ల మధ్య ఉండాలి. పాలిసెట్–2020 పరీక్షల్లో వచ్చిన ర్యాంకుల ఆధారంగా సీట్లు కేటాయిస్తారు._*
