TS ITI Admission 2024 Notification, Registration, Important Dates Apply Online @ iti.telangana.gov.in

1. Industrial Training Institutes (I.T.I.s):
a) Industrial Training Institutes (I.T.I.s) were formed to assure a stable flow of trained personnel in various crafts for the domestic industry, as well as to increase industrial productivity numerically and qualitatively.To eliminate unemployment among educated youth by offering marketable training, and to promote and nurture a technical and industrial mindset in the minds of the younger generation.
b) Industrial Training Institutes play an important role in the country's economy, particularly in terms of producing trained labour.
c) I.T.I.s provides Vocational Training in a variety of 24 Engineering and 13 Non-Engineering Trades through the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) in order to develop skilled labour for industry. The Director General of Training (DGT), New Delhi, develops the curriculum for various trades.
d) There are 63 government ITIs and 211 private ITIs in Telangana State that offer training in various trades and are accredited with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). Please Refer to Annexure-I for a list of I.T.I.s.
e) In the state of Telangana, I.T.I. Trainees are trained in 24 Engineering and 13 Non-Engineering trades over two years and one year, respectively, with entry qualifications of 8th and 10th. The list of Trades may be found in Annexure-II.
f) Practical instruction accounts for approximately 70% of the training duration, with the remainder devoted to theoretical training in areas such as Trade Theory, Workshop Calculation & Science, Engineering Drawing, Employability Skills, Library, and Extra Curricular Activities, among others.
2. Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS)
a) In 1950, the Government of India established the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) to assure a consistent supply of trained employees in several skills for the domestic sector.
The goals of CTS are as follows: i) to provide human resources with the necessary capabilities for industries and other service sectors.
ii) To increase the productivity of the young by equipping them with employable skills that will enable them to gain salary benefits as well as self-employment.
iii) To train highly competent artisans for the industry.
iv) To maintain a regular supply of skilled personnel in the industrial and service sectors.
v) Improving industrial production quality and quantity via systematic training of future personnel.
3. National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT):
a) The Ministry of Labour and Employment has established a tripartite National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) to advise the Union Government on Training Policies, Norms and Standards, Trade Testing and Certification.
b) Vocational Training is now administered by the Director General of Training (DGT), New Delhi, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
c) Candidates accepted to NCVT-affiliated trades would be given a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade after completing the All India Trade Test (AITT).
4. Dual System of Training (DST):
a) The Duel System of instruction (DST) is a combination of theoretical instruction provided by government and private I.T.I.s and practical training provided by industry. DST facilitates industry links and provides students with hands-on exposure with industry's most recent/updated technology.
b) The Industry / I.T.I. has freedom in determining the duration of ITI / Industry training and blocks during the full training time within this range.
c) The availability of the DST scheme is dependent on the industry's connectivity.
5. Online Admissions into I.T.I.s:
a) Per G.O.Rt.No.311, LET&F Department, dated 29-04-2017, the Government has authorised the Commissioner, Employment and Training, Telangana, Hyderabad, to make online admissions into Government and Private Industrial Training Institutes.
b) As a result, the Commissioner of Employment and Training issues a notification for admissions to 63 Government I.T.I.s and 211 Private I.T.I.s in Telangana State under the NCVT pattern.
Eligibility Criteria to Apply for Admissions into I.T.I.s:
a) The candidate must be an Indian national.
b) Candidates must have passed
(i) the S.S.C. Examination conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education, Telangana, or any other examination recognised as equivalent, such as
(ii) the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE),
(iii) the Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE),
(iv) the National Institute of Open School (NIOS),
(v) the Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), (vi) the A.P. Open School Society (
c) applicants who have passed the eighth grade are also eligible for admission into some trades. Please see Annexure-II for entrance qualifications, however priority is given to applicants who have passed or failed the tenth grade.
d) Candidates who will be 14 years old on August 1, 2022.
General Instructions to Applicants:
a) A single online application is sufficient to apply for admissions to any of the Government institutions.Telangana State has both public and private I.T.I.s. There is no need to send a physical application form.
b) After applying online, the options must be exercised online as well.
c) However, just applying does not give the individual the right to be considered for admission unless he or she meets all other requirements.
d) The complete admissions programme will be announced in major newspapers. Admission programmes will also be accessible on the website " https://iti.telangana.gov.in " and at all Government I.T.I.s. Candidates are urged to keep an eye out for the same.
e) Candidates will become acquainted with the online counseling/Online Admissions method, and essential information regarding open seats/trades/institutions is available on the website.
f) There will be no call letters addressed to candidates for the verification procedure. The notification will be sent through SMS to the candidate's registered cellphone number. The information, however, will also be available on the website https://iti.telangana.gov.in.
g) No request for change of Trade / I.T.I. is permitted at the completion of the admission procedure.
How to Apply for Admissions into I.T.I.s online:
a) Applicants are recommended to carefully read all guidelines. Also, see the User Manual, which is available on the website. Contact the hotline at helpdesk.tsitiadmission@gmail.com between 10 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on all working days for more assistance.
b) Applicants must have a unique Aadhar Number, Unique Mobile Number, and Unique Email ID, and "No change in Mobile Number and Email ID allowed until students pass the course."
c) Before applying for I.T.I Admission, aspirants should have their Aadhar Card, Candidate Mobile Number, Candidate E-mail ID, SSC Memo or its equivalent, Caste Certificate, and other certificates, if applicable, available.
d) The process of submitting application comprises of the following steps.
i) Registration (Creating Login ID and Password)
ii) Filling of online Application Details.
iii) Uploading Photo and Signature
iv) Entering Education Details
v) Uploading of scanned documents
vi) Options Submission

i) Registration (Creating Login ID and Password):
a) Visit Website<https://iti.telangana.gov.in>
b) Click on “Registration” for New Applicant
c) Click on “Sign in”, If already registered
d) Enter Name, Father and Mother Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile number and
E-mail ID to register.
e) Create the Password and click Sign up, then login credentials will be sent to the
registered Mobile Number and Email.
(No change in Mobile Number and Email ID allowed till students passed the course”)
e) Login credentials should not be shared to any others under any circumstances.
f) Mobile Number will be the Candidate’s Login ID to submit online Admission
application. This Login ID will be verified for all future admission related online
activities.
Filling of online Application:
a) After Sign in, click on “My Application” then click Edit/View.
b) Click on Application details and enter the Reservation Details from drop downs
i.e. , • Religion (Hindu/Muslim/Christian/Sikh/Jain/Buddhist/Zorastrian)
• Caste (OC/SC/ST/BC-A/BC-B/BC-C/BC-D/BC-E)
• Local Status (Local or Non-Local)
• Physically Handicapped (Yes or No)
• Ex-Serviceman (Yes or No).
• Economically weaker section (Yes or No)
• Orphan (Yes or No)
• Enter Aadhaar Number, address and other details. and click on “Save & Proceed” next page.
c) Upload scanned copy of latest passport size photo of 35mm x 45mm and Signature (not exceeding 100kb size) at Photo and Signature upload page and click on “Save & Proceed” next page.
d) Select Name of the Board, Month & Year of passing from drop downs and enter the Marks/Grade Point at Education details page and click on “Save & Proceed” next page.
d) Upload required supporting certificates scanned copies at Upload Documents
page and click on “Save & Proceed” for next page.
e) Submit options for selecting ITI and Trade in preferential order. Please click on “Seats Open” on the menu bar of the website for the seats open for the session 2023-24 &25 in various ITIs. Applicants are advised to prepare a list of ITI–Trade combinations (called “Options”) in preferential order as many options as desired, manually on a paper (please refer Annexure-V for format). There is no limit for number of options to be exercised. Further they are advised to consult their parents, teachers and others, before preparing such options.
f) The applicants are instructed to get a “Print-out” of filled online application and ensure that the particulars are correct in all respects before final submission. Ifany of the particulars are found incorrect, edit the application, accordingly by using “Edit” option.
g) If the information submitted by the applicant is found false, at any point of time, the application / seat allotted will be cancelled, besides appropriate action will be initiated against the candidate.
Certificates :
Candidates must only upload scanned copies of the actual certificates listed below.
i) "SSC Marks Memo" or an analogous examination (just the long memo). However, for applicants appearing in the year 2023, if a lengthy memo has not been given, a short memo will be permitted, as would an 8th Passed Marks Certificate issued by the School Headmaster in the case of 8th Passed Applicants.
ii) "Caste Certificate" from Revenue Authorities, issued by authorities not lower than the rank of Tahsildar in the case of BC, SC, and ST applicants, as per AnnexureVI proforma. The certificate must include the sub-caste and serial number of the caste in the groupings of BC, SC, and ST.
iii) "Date of Birth Certificate" indicating the date of birth
iv) "Bonafide Certificate" (Study Certificate) for the full duration of schooling from Class IV to X to assess if the student is local or not.
v) A "Certificate of Residence" in the format specified in Annexure-IX must be issued by an officer not lower than the rank of TAHSILDAR to candidates who took the qualifying examination privately 7 years prior to the date on which the relevant qualifying examination was first taken.
vi) "Physically Handicapped Certificate" in the format specified in Annexure-VII, provided by the State/District Medical Board in the event of a physically handicapped applicant (See G.O.Ms.No.109, Women's Development, Child Welfare, and Labour Department, dated 15-6-1992).
vii) "EWS Certificate" in the format specified in Annexure-X, issued by a TAHSILDAR-level officer.
viii) Ex-Serviceman Certificate" from the service in the case of Ex-Servicemen and Service Certificate" from the appropriate authorities in the case of serving personnel. (see Annexure-III)
ix) A "Conduct Certificate" from the Dean of the Institution where you most recently studied.
x) Tahasildar will issue a "Income Certificate" in 2023 to individuals who are eligible and desire to claim Fee Reimbursement.In the event of Orphan/Semi-Orphan applicants, "Death Certificate/s" of parent/s issued by the competent government.
Rejection of Candidature:
a) The applicant's candidature is subject to rejection for the following reasons:
1. If the candidate's application is incomplete.
2. If the candidate provides misleading or erroneous information
3. If the candidate fails to meet the qualifying requirements
4. If the candidate does not use the online alternatives.
b) If the application is denied, no correspondence will be entertained, and the verification fee will not be refunded; nonetheless, the form will be rejected upon receipt of an SMS notification.He can reapply with an alternative mobile phone before the application deadline.
Reservation of seats:
The "Seats Allocation" mechanism will be based on "Merit-cum-Reservation" in accordance with the regulations in effect.
a. Local Reservation: In admissions to I.T.I.s, 5% of seats are offered to all candidates (both local and non-local). The remaining 95% of seats, however, will be filled only by local candidates.
a. Caste Reservations: Seats in non-minority and other than special category institutions will be reserved in the following percentages for SC/ST/BCA/BCB/BCC/BCD/BCE candidates.
• SC: 15%, ST: 10%, BCA: 7%, BCB: 10%, BCC: 1%, BCD: 7%, BCE: 4%
c. EWS Reservation: Reservation of 10% of seats for candidates from the Economically Weaker Section, subject to State Government approval.
d. Women Reservation: 33.33% of total seats in all non-minority Co- Educational
institutions are reserved for women candidates in each reservation category. If sufficient
numbers of candidates are not available to fill the seats reserved for women, they will be
offered to the boys of the same category.
However..
i) Only women candidates are allowed to admit in
* Govt. I.T.I.(Girls) Mahabubnagar, Mahabubnagar
* Govt. QQS I.T.I. (Girls) Santhoshnagar, Hyderabad
* St. Joseph Private ITI (Girls) Hanumakonda, Warangal
ii) Only Boys candidates are allowed to admit in
* Govt. ITI, Hathnoora, Sangareddy, District
* Govt. ITI, Krishnasagar, Bhadradri Kothagudem District.
e. Physically Handicapped Reservation: Reservation of seats to the extent of 4% subject to State Government Approval for Physically Handicapped candidates. However the right of admission in to I.T.Is/Trades is based on the fitness of the candidate. The decision of the Department authorities is final in this regard.
f. Ex-Serviceman Reservation: Reservation of seats to the extent of 2% for the children of Ex-Servicemen and defence personnel including Border Security Force and Central Reserve Police, subject to the condition that …
i) Candidates whose parents are domicile of Telangana based opermanent address/hometown declared by them while joining the service and as recorded in their service register.
ii) The candidate shall also submit a certificate from the Director, Sainik Welfare
Board/Zilla Sainik Welfare Board as to their eligibility to be considered under this quota specifying the category to which the applicant belongs with attested copies of the
documentary evidence for claim as given in Annexure–VIII.
iii) The decision of T.S. Sainik Board or its nominee is final and binding on the Candidates in this regard.
g. Reservation in Special Category I.T.I.s:
i) In Government I.T.I. (Girls) Mahabubnagar seats are filled as per the below mentioned reservation percentages.
• SC-60%, ST-10%, BCC–10%, BCA/BCB/BCD/BCE–10% & OC-10%
ii) In Government I.T.I. Hathnoora, Sangareddy Dist. seats are filled as per the below mentioned reservation percentages.
• SC-60%, ST-10%, BCA/BCB/BCC/BCD/BCE –10% & OC-20%
iii) In the following Four Government Industrial Training Institutes the reservation
for filling the seats is ST- 90% and OC-10%.
• Govt I.T.I. Mannanur, Nagarkurnool District.
• Govt I.T.I. Krishnasagar, Bhadradri Kothagudem Dist.
• Govt I.T.I.Utnoor, Adilabad District.
• Govt I.T.I. Eturunagaram, Jayashankar Bhupalapally District.
iv) In Grace Private ITI, Manugur, 50% of seats are reserved for the Orphan/Semi Orphan candidates. Remaining 50% of seats are filled with existing reservation system.
Reservation in Minority I.T.I.s :
i) Government I.T.I. (Minority) Bodhan: 100% seats reserved to the minorities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist and Parsi /Zorostrian) and admissions are allowed through online only.
ii) Private Minority I.T.I.s: 100% seats reserved to the respective minority category, and admissions are allowed through online only. The lists of Private Minority I.T.I.s are
as follows..
• Jahangir Peeran Private ITI, Mahabubnagar. (Muslim Minority)
• Boys Town Private ITI, Darulshifa, Hyderabad (Christian Minority)
• HEH Allauddin Private ITI, Boggulakunta, Hyderabad. (Muslim Minority)
• Jafferia Private ITI, Darushifa, Hyderabad. (Muslim Minority)
• Anjuman Omar Private ITI, Musheerabad, Hyderabad (Muslim Minority)
• Mount Carmel Boys Town (MCBT) Private ITI Paloncha, Bhadradri Kothagudem District. (Christian Minority)
• Fatima Private ITI, Kazipet, Warangal Urban District.(Christian Minority)
Mode of Seats Filling :
a) Admissions into I.T.I.s will be allowed as per the rules in vogue and subject to any amendments issued by Government of Telangana from time to time
b) All candidates are eligible to compete for unreserved seats and Local candidates are eligible for Open competition (OC) seats and they will be filled first followed by the seat earmarked for reservation categories.
c) The seats will be allocated strictly basing on the merit-cum-reservation and in the preferential order of options exercised by the candidates subject to eligibility in all other respects.
d) If sufficient numbers of women candidates are not available to fill up seats reserved for Women category, they will be filled by conversion to General of respective reservation category.
e) If sufficient number of candidates of any particular group of Backward Classes namely,
,B,C,D & E are not available to fill up seats reserved for that group, they may be filled by conversion to other BC groups as per rules in vogue in the order of merit. If the required numbers of candidates are not available from all five groups, the unfilled seats will be added to general pool of the local area.
f) If sufficient numbers of candidates are not available to fill seats reserved for Scheduled Tribe, they may be filled by suitable candidates from Scheduled Caste and Vice versa. If the required numbers of candidates are not available from both categories, the unfilled seats will be added to general pool of the local area.
g) The Scheduled Tribes / Scheduled Castes / Backward Class candidates seeking admission shall produce Community Certificate in the prescribed Proforma as given in Annexure - VI.
h) The candidates claiming themselves as SC / ST / BC candidates and who do not submit such valid certificates in the prescribed form or submit those certificates in improper form will not be considered as SC/ST/BC candidates (as the case may be). They will be treated as OC candidates only.
i) The caste claims of BC / SC / ST candidates are subject to verification and report by Commissioner of Backward Classes Welfare / Director of Social Welfare / Director of Tribal Welfare respectively. The admission of the candidates is provisional till the genuineness of the claim of BC / SC / ST candidates is certified by the above said respective authorities.
j) In certain Govt. I.T.I.s covered under PPP scheme, 20% of seats are reserved under Institute Management Committee (IMC) quota. If the candidate is interested in IMC quota seats by paying the prescribed Tuition Fee, he can also opt IMC quota seats in online, subject to the condition that he shall pay the Tuition Fee at the respective Govt. I.T.I., if the IMC quota seat is allotted.
Fee Details :
a. At the time of admission, the selected candidate shall pay Tuition Fee and Caution Money Deposit as applicable.
b. For Government I.T.I.s there is no Tuition Fee, except for IMC seats. For admission into IMC quota seats, the Tuition Fee will be collected as decided by the respective IMCs. For details please refer Annexure-III.
c. For Private I.T.I.s the Tuition fee is prescribed vide G.O.Rt.No.261, LET&F (Emp-Vig) Dept, dated 11-06-2018 as detailed below.
d. However, the Tuition fee and Caution Money Deposits chargeable in all Government and Private I.T.I.s will be subject to revision by the Government from time to time.
e. The candidates who are exempted from payment of fee have to apply for fee
reimbursement through online. However, the orders issued by the Government in thisregard from time to time shall apply.
f. Govt. have decided to link the scholarship applications with the Aadhaar number for effecting the cash transfer scheme. For this every student must furnish the aadhaar number vide Govt. Memo no. 16635/sw. Edn. 2/2012-4, dated 29-12-2012.
g. The Caution money deposit is Rs.60/- in Govt. I.T.I.s and Rs.100/- in Private I.T.I.s. However, the candidates belonging to SC / ST (indicated by Government) categories wil be exempted from payment of Caution Money Deposit
Reporting for Admission
a) The candidates' registered cellphone and email addresses are notified of the Provisional Allotment of Trade and I.T.I. The same information will be available on the website as well.
b) No separate seat allotment letters or notification letters will be provided to applicants.
c) Candidates must download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter from the Website using their individual login information.
d) Candidates must report to the assigned I.T.I. with the Provisional Allotment Letter and all original certificates within the time frame specified.
e) If admitted to Private I.T.I., the candidate must also pay the Tuition Fee specified in Para 12 (c).
f) However, if the candidate is accepted into another I.T.I. during the succeeding phases/spells, the ITI Management will reimburse the candidate's tuition price.
g) If admitted to an IMC quota seat, the candidate must pay the applicable Tuition Fee. Annexure-III contains fee information.
h) Candidates who fail to report on time to the allocated I.T.I., do not pay the price, or do not present the genuine certificates will have their given seat annulled and will have no claim to admission to I.T.I.s.
i) Following the completion of the first spell distribution of seats, if vacancies exist, a sliding method will be used to allocate such vacant seats in succeeding spells based on the fresh alternatives exercised online.
To Remove Ambiguity, if any:
If any ambiguity or doubt arises in the interpretation and implementation of these rules, the decision of the Director of Employment and Training will be final.

TS ITI Admissions 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification For TS ITI: Candidates should possess S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent such as CBSE, ICSE, National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS).Candidates who have passed 8th class are also eligible for admission into certain Trades i.e. Painter General, Wireman, Carpenter, Sheet Metal Worker, Mason (Building Constructor), and Welder subject to the condition that if 10th class passed/ failed candidates are not available for this TS ITI Recruitment 2022-23.
Age Limit:
The Candidates age limit should be Minimum of 14 years as on 1st August 2022, and there is no Upper Age Limit. Candidates have to check the TS ITI Admissions 2019 Eligibility and according to that complete the registration process on or before the last date. Download ITI Admission Application Form through accessing online at iti.telangana.gov.in.
How to fill online application form 2022
Application procedure for Telangana TS ITI admission include the following procedure-
1 Registration-Registration is the first stage of the admission. Candidates have to create a registration ID and password first. They can follow the given procedure for online registration:
Visit the official website of Department of Employment and Training i.e. www.iti.telangana.gov.in
Click on “Student Login” button on the homepage.
Click on the “New Registration” link.
Enter the valid mobile number and Email ID.
Password will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Candidates have to use the mobile number as the login Id and password for login.
2. Filling of Online Application- In this step, applicants have to fill the appropriate details:
Visit the website.
Log in by using the ID and password.
Enter all the personal and qualification in the filed provided.
Upload the scanned image of the passport size photograph.
Check the details properly.
Click on “View & Save” button.
Take a printout of the filled-in application form.
In case candidates have filled the wrong information in the application form, they can make the correction by clicking on the “Edit” button.
3.Exercising Option for ITI and Trade-
Once the application form is filled, applicants have to lock the choices for their preferred ITI and trade.
For filling the choices, they have to visit the web portal.
They can check the availability of seats and ITI in the “Seats Open” tab at the website’s homepage.
Candidates can select any number of ITI and trades as per their preferences.
Candidates must be careful while selecting the preference list as they cannot make changes in the choices once they have been frozen.
Candidates are advised to take a printout of the record for reference.
4. Slot Booking for Certificate Verification-
In this step, applicants have to book a slot as per their convenience for the verification of the documents.
One the slot is booked, no changed can be made.
Physically handicapped candidates have to book the slot for verification of certificate at any of the two special verification centers. These centers are- Office of the Regional Deputy Director (App) Hyderabad and the office of the Regional Deputy Director (App) Warangal
5 .Attend for Certificate Verification-
Candidates have to visit the verification center for verification of the certificates.
All the applicants are required to visit the centers with the printout of the online application form along with original documents plus a photocopy of each.
They must be present at the centers on a date and time slot booked in advance.
However, there are no application fee candidates just have to pay Rs.10/- at the verification center towards the application fee.
Telangana TS ITI 2022 Reservation for admission
Allocation of the seats will be based on the “Merit-cum-Reservation”. Below we have shared the category-wise reservation-

i) In Government I.T.I. (Girls) Mahabubnagar seats are filled as per the below
mentioned reservation percentages.
