TG EDCET Notification 2025:
Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of TGCHE, invites online applications for the Telangana Education Common Entrance Test (TS Ed.CET) 2025 for admission to the B.Ed. two-year regular course in Telangana's Colleges of Education for the academic year 2025-26. All eligible and interested applicants can apply online for TG Ed.CET 2025 at the TGCHE EDCET official website, edcet.tgche.ac.in, beginning March 12th, 2025, and ending May 13th.
Interested individuals should attentively read the entire notification before applying online.

Eligibility Criteria:
a. Bachelor's degree, such as B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Science), BCA, BBM, B.A (Oriental Languages), BBA, or a Masters Degree, with at least 50% aggregate marks.
b. A bachelor's degree in engineering or technology with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, or an equivalent qualification.
c. Candidates from reserved categories, such as SC/ST/BC, must have obtained 40% in the qualifying examination.
d. Candidates should be asked to present a marks memo and a pass certificate during admissions counseling.
e. Candidates with MBBS/ BSC (AG)/ BVSC/ BHMT/ B.Pharm, as well as other professional and job-oriented degree degrees such as LLB, are not eligible for admission to the B.Ed course.
Age limit:
The candidate must be at least 19 years old as of July 1st of the year in which the notification was issued. There will be no maximum age limit.
How to Apply Online:
1. An email address is required to apply for the TS EdCET 2025.
2. Visit the official website (www.edcet.tsche.ac.in) or this page. Manabadi.co.in will link you to the EdCET application page.
3. Click the "Apply Online" option.
4. The following information must be kept available for filling up the data during online submission:

6. Hall ticket number: S.S.C. or similar
7. Date of birth
8. Caste for SC/ST/BC candidates.
9. Aadhaar Number
10. PH, NCC, Sports, etc.
11. Income up to one lakh, up to two lakhs, or more than two lakhs (in rupees).
12. Ration Card.
13. Study, residence, or an appropriate certificate for verification of local status (last 12 years)
14. If you are making a payment online, click the "Click here to Pay Online using your Credit/Debit Card" link and pay the fees. Alternatively, you can pay at AP ONLINE or TS ONLINE.
15. After filling out the Online Application Form with the relevant information.
16. The candidate must carefully review all of the details before pressing the Submit button. A completed Online Application Form will be generated, which will include a Registration Number as well as the details entered. The candidate must take a printout of the filled-out online application form and give it to the invigilator during the examination, along with a current color photograph suitably attested by the Gazetted Officer or Principal of the College where they studied qualifying examination.
18. After successfully submitting the fee, you can complete the application form by clicking on the link "Click here to proceed to enter application".
19. You must upload your scanned images (size less than 30 KB) and signature (size less than 15 KB) in JPEG format.
20. Double-check all of the information you entered and then click the "SUBMIT" button.
21. Print off the application form for future use.

23. A recent passport-sized digital color photograph (file size less than 30 KB and.jpg file format) of the candidate for uploading (whose photograph is not accessible in Intermediate databases).

31. On the day of the TS Ed.CET-2025 exam, the candidate must hand over the "FILLED IN ONLINE Ed.CET 2025 APPLICATION FORM" to the invigilator in the examination hall. Also, attach a current color photograph (3.5cms x 3.5cms) in the area provided (Bottom / Left side) on the "FILLED IN ONLINE EdCET 2025 APPLICATION FORM" and have it validated by a Gazetted Officer / Principal of the College.
32. If the Application number of his/her Caste Certificate is not provided at the time of online application submission, the candidate belonging to the SC / ST category must submit the attested "CASTE CERTIFICATE" along with the FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM" to the Invigilator on the day of the TSEdCET-2025 exam in the Examination Hall.

Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS Ed.CET – 2021) for the year 2021 will be conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad in accordance with G.O. Ms. No. 13 SE(Trg)) Dept. dt. 27-05-2017 and its amendments, G.O.Ms.No.5, School Education (Training) Department, dated. 31.01.2020. and G.O Ms.NO 14 SE(Trg) Dept. Dt. 12-04-2021 for admission into B.Ed. (Two Years) regular course offered in the Colleges of Education in Telangana State for the academic year 2021-22. Eligible Candidates should submit their applications ONLINE mode only from 19.04.2021.
Application registration fee of Rs. 650/- (Rs.450/- for SC/ ST) should be paid at TS Online/AP Online/Mee-Seva/E-Seva Centres in Telangana State or A.P/ through Payment Gateway (Credit card/Debit card). ELIGIBILITY:
TS EDCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
1) Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
2) Candidate should satisfy the status of local and non-local as per the requirement laid down in TS Educational Institutions Order 1974 Regulation of Admission.
3) Candidates with degree B.A/B.Sc/B.Sc (Home Science)/B.Com/B.C.A/B.B.M and with minimum 50% of marks are eligible. For SC/ST/BC/PH, it is 40% of marks.
4) Candidates with 55% of marks in B.E/B.Tech degree with mathematics/science as one of the subjects are also eligible.
5) Age Limit: Candidate should have completed 19 years of age.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates should have passed/appearing for final year examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science) /B.Com./ B.E/B.Tech/B.C.A./B.B.M. at the time of submitting the Application for TS Ed.CET-2020.
- Candidates should be required to produce marks memo and pass certificate at the time of admission.
- Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks either in the Bachelors Degree i.e. B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M and or in the Masters Degree in relevant subject or 5years integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
- Candidates should have secured a minimum of 55 % marks in B.E/B.Tech with Science/Mathematics as one of the subject or any other qualification equivalent there to, are eligible for admission to the programme.*
- However the candidates belonging to all other reserved categories i.e. S.C., S.T., B.C. (A/B/C/D/E), and Physically handicapped should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.

TS EDCET 2021 Hall Tickets:
Candidate can download the hall tickets from the official website of TS EDCET 2021. Hall tickets will be issued from 2nd week of August 2021 tentatively. Hall tickets will contain information regarding candidate and test date, time and venue. Candidate has to download the Hall Ticket from the website only.
TS EDCET 2021 Qualifying marks:
The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% i.e. 37 marks out of total marks. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for S.Cs & S.Ts for ranking. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for women in Physical Sciences/Mathematics methodologies.
TS EDCET 2021 Results & Rank Card:
Candidate can get the TS EDCET 2021 results from the official website of TS EDCET 2021. Results will be announced on 2nd week of September 2021 tentatively. Rank card will be made available in the official website after result announcement. Candidate has to download the Rank Card from the website only.
Ranking:
Candidates will be called rank-wise for counselling procedure. Candidates need to register and pay non-refundable counselling fee Rs 650/- (Rs 450/- for SC/ST category). There will be certificate verification and candidates have to submit the Xerox copy of certificates. After the counselling procedure, all candidates have to choose the colleges through web options.
TS EDCET 2020 General Instructions:
1) The Convener, TS EDCET reserves the right to reject the application of any candidate at any stage.
2) Any change will not be permitted to be made in the application after its receipt by the Convener.
3) The Candidate should preserve the hall ticket to produce it at the time of test and later at the time of entry into the course.
4) The appearance at TS EDCET does not entitle any candidate to be considered for entry into the course automatically.
5) Candidate will not be permitted into the exam hall after 11 AM on the date of entrance test.
6) All disputes arising out of any matter concerning TS EDCET shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the T.S/A.P. High Court.
