Eligibility:

1. The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

2.Candidates should have passed with at least 50% of marks eitherB.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A./B.Sc.(Home Science)/ BBM/BBA/ B.E/B.Tech.

3. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PWD should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.

3.The students who wish to take admission in B.Ed. with B.E/B.Tech must have

Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects.

4. B.C.A. candidate must pass Intermediate with concern subjects to opt the Methodology.

5. The Candidates who passed the qualifying examination by May/June, 2022 are alone eligible.

6. The candidate do not have required percentage of marks in Undergraduate, the marks secured in Post-Graduation will be considered (If he/she studied relevant subject at PG)

7. Apart from the above, the candidates must fulfil any one of the following conditions as per NCTE-2014 Regulations.

i. Should be Trained in-service Teachers in Elementary Education (NCTE recognised Teacher Training completed.

ii. Should have completed NCTE recognised Teacher Education programme in

Elementary Education through face-to-face mode (TTC/D.Ed./D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed./TPT/HPT/UPT/B.P.Ed/D.P.Ed.-Qualification is must).

9. The reservation for SC/ST/BC/PWD categories shall be as per the rules in vogue.

10. EWS quota seats will allotted to the eligible candidates on production of the relevant certificates/documents.

11. Candidate should have completed 21 years as on 1st July 2022. There is no upper age limit.

Note:

i. As per the GOMS No: 92 and GOMS NO.13, the candidates who passed

MBBS/BDS/BPT/BAMS/BL/LLB/B.Pharm/BHMT/BVSC/B.Sc.(AG)/B.A.(Languages)/BOL etc. and other such Professional and Job Oriented courses are not eligible for

admission into B.Ed. Programme.

ii. Diploma in ECE /PSE, Diploma in Arts Education and other Pre-Primary Teacher Training Certificate/Diploma (PPTTC) completed candidates are not eligible for admission into B.Ed. (ODL) Programme.

Medium : Entrance test will be conducted in Telugu Laanguage (medium) only

Tuition Fee : Rs.40,000/- to be paid at the time of Admission for the entire programme of two years.

Duration :  02 Academic years

Syllabus for Entrance Test : The Entrance Test Question Paper will have 3 parts for 100 Marks with 100 Objective type

(Multiple Choice) questions.

Part-I: General English Comprehension (25 Marks)

Part-II: Proficiency in Telugu (25 Marks)

Part-III: General Mental Ability (50 Marks)

Mode of Entrance Test :  Entrance Test will be conducted Online [Computer Based Test (CBT) mode]. 

Registration to appear the Entrance Test :  Register through ONLINE in the University portal (www.braouonline.in) and pay the Registration fee of Rs. 1000/-(Rupees one thousand only) and S.C/ST/ PwD candidates may pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven hundred fifty only) through online onor before: 22-05-2023.

Last date for Registration & payment of Entrance Test fee with a late fee of Rs. 500/-:28-05-2023.

Details of Entrance Test :

Entrance Test will be held on 06-06-2023 (from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM) at selected

Examination Centre. The University reserves the right to allot candidates to any other Entrance Test Centre(s) other than their choice in unavoidable circumstances.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR ENTRANCE TEST

The candidate has to register for appearing B.Ed. Admission Entrance Test on

University portal www.braouonline.in only. Registration fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and S.C.,/S.T/PWD candidate may pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred

and fifty only) through online on or before 22-05-2023. With a late fee of Rs. 500/-

applications can be submitted on or before 28-05-2023.

Note: The Candidates who completed their Under Graduation / Post Graduation

by May / June, 2022 are only eligible for Admission and appear for Entrance

Test.

Go through the following instructions and register accordingly.

2. Documents and others details required for submission of Application through Online.

1) SSC/Equivalent/Birth Certificate for date of birth prof.

2) Degree/PG Marks Memos and Provisional /Convocation certificates.

3) NCTE recognised Elementary Teacher Education Programme Completion Certificate (TTC/D.Ed./D.El.Ed /B.El.Ed /TPT/HPT/UPT- Qualification is must).

4) Medical Board Certificate (for PH candidates issued by Competent Authority)

5) Latest Passport size Photo with Signature (JPEG format and less than 60 KB).

6) Caste certificate issued by Competent Authority (latest)

7) Service certificate (Issued by MEO / Dy. E. O)

3. Fill the application form ON-LINE based on your certificates/documents. (please

verify Model Online Application form and instructions to fill the application ON-LINE in the University portal).

4. If any wrong information is provided in the application form, it is the responsibility of the applicant only.

5. After submitting the form, take a print out and pay the registration fee mentioning the reference number of the application.

6. Registration fee Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and S.C.,/S.T/PWD

candidate may pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty only) through online.

Please obtain receipt for the payment of the fee.

7. If the candidate fails to pay registration fee and submit the application in time, He /She

must pay a late fee of Rs. 500/- till 28-05-2023.

8. Please keep the printed Application Form and Fee receipt carefully with you for

further reference and for submission at the time of Certificates verification.

9. Make a note that the process of registration to appear for Entrance Test will be

possible only after the payment of Registration Fee.

10. Physical submission of Application is not required.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admissions are made strictly on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test conducted by Dr. BRAOU. Only those candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria fixed by the University will be admitted. The candidate has to give web- option of his/her preference for allotment of

programme centre at the time admission.

 The candidate is required to submit the application form through Online

(www.braouonline.in) only. No need to submit the hard copy.

 Take a Printout of Online Application Form for your reference and to submit a copy

at the time of Certificates Verification.

ENTRANCE TEST

The Question paper of the Entrance will have 3 parts for 100 marks with 100

Objective type Questions (Multiple Choice). The structure of B.Ed. (ODL) entrance is:

Part-I: General English Comprehension 25 Questions 25 Marks

Part-II: Proficiency in Telugu 25 Questions 25 Mark

Part-III: General Mental Ability 50 Questions 50 Marks

MODE OF ENTRANCE TEST

Online Entrance Test will be conducted. Candidates must appear Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. (Entrance Test will be conducted in Telugu Medium only)

Note:

* For Model Question Paper, please visit the University portal www.braouonline.in.

* The entrance test will be held on 06-06-2023 from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM at selected Examination Centres of the University. Candidates are required to be present in the

examination hall by one Hour before the commencement of the Examination.

* The question paper, except General English section, will be in Telugu.

* The University reserves the right to allot candidates to any other Entrance Test

Centre(s) in unavoidable circumstances.

RANKING

Candidates will be ranked in the order of the merit in the B.Ed. entrance test. In case of candidates getting equal mark, Part-C marks will be taken into account to decide relative ranking. In case of tie the marks in Part-C also the marks obtained in Part-B, then Part-A willbe taken into account to decide relative ranking. In the case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the parts of the test paper, age shall be taken into consideration for relative ranking among the bracketed candidates. The rank obtained in B.Ed. Entrance Test is validfor entry into B.Ed. Programme for the Academic Year 2022-2023 only.

Note:

* The Qualifying mark in the B.Ed. Entrance Test for all candidates, except SC/ST,

is 35. For candidates belonging to SC/ST communities there will be no qualifying

marks for ranking.

* Request for Re-Totalling and Re-evaluation or personal identification of

OMR/Script will not be entertained.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE CHOICE OF PEDAGOGIES IN B.Ed.

 PROGRAMME

(GOMS No. 92, Education Department, dated 16-11-2006 and GOMS No. 13 dated

27/05/2017 and the amendments thereafter).

i. Mathematics: Candidate with B.A./B.Sc.B.E/B.Tech with Mathematics as one of the subjects, or B.C.A. candidates with Mathematics at Intermediate level as a group

subject. 

ii. Physical Sciences: Candidates with B.Sc. who have studied Physical Sciences

(Physics or Chemistry) or Allied Material Sciences as group subjects or

B.E/B.Tech./BCA candidates with Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry) at

Intermediate level as group subjects.

iii. Biological Sciences: Candidates with B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Home Science) who have studied Botany or Zoology or Allied Life Sciences under Part-II group subjects or B.C.A. candidates with Biological Sciences at Intermediate level as group subjects.

iv. Social Sciences: All candidates with B.A./B.Com./B.B.M. or B.C.A. candidates with Social Sciences at Intermediate level as group subjects.

Note: The percentage of number of candidates to be admitted in each Pedagogy subject in the University shall be as follows:

(a) Mathematics: 25% (b) Physical Sciences: 15%

(c) Biological Sciences: 25% (d) Social Sciences: 35%

L). SERVICE CERTIFICATE

The Service Certificate has to be submitted by the candidates at time of Verification.

The Service Certificate has to be signed by the Head of the Institution and counter signed by the MEO or Deputy DEO. In Case of others the concerned Employer should counter sign.

COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE TO WORKSHOPS

University will allot 24 days in a year to conduct Workshops/Instructional

Class/Personal Contact Programmes/Academic Counselling excluding School Based

Activities, Micro Teaching, Teaching Practice, Internship and Final Practical Examinations.

The Workshops and other Classes will be scheduled in different phases as per the

requirement of the B.Ed. ODL Programme. The University has right to conduct the

Workshops and other Classes at any time during the Programme/Year. 85% of Attendance during the Workshops and other Classes is compulsory.

N). PROGRAMME CENTRES

The Programme Centre is the contact point at the local level. The candidate has to

select the programme centre that is convenient to him/her. The programme centres provide  Audio-Visual equipment, Library and other facilities in all working days.

i. There are 500 Seats in total in B.Ed. (ODL) Programme.

ii. The Maximum number of seats in each B.Ed. Program centre is 50.

iii. The University doesn’t shift students from one centre to another at any cost.

iv. Students should attend workshops only at the programme centre allotted to them. Online Application Registration Fee Rs. 1000/- & in case of SC/ST/PWD Candidates Rs. 750/-

BRAOU Ambedkar Distance B.Ed Notification 2018

The candidate has to register his/her candidature for appearing B.Ed./ B.Ed. (SE) Entrance Test on University website www.braouonline.in only and payment of registration fee done through Debit/Credit Card OR any AP/TS ONLINE FRANCHISE CENTRE across AP and Telangana on or before 15-05-2018.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility	1. The candidate should be an Indian citizen. 2. Candidates   should   have   passed   with   at   least   50%   of          marks either B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A./B.Sc.(Home Science)/ BBM and/or the Masters Degree in Science/Social Sciences/Humanities (relevant subject of Pedagogy) at the time of submitting the application for B.Ed. Entrance Test. Candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% marks in B.E/B.Tech. with Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission into the B.Ed. (ODL) Programme. However the candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PWD should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination. 3.Candidates who are appearing for final year examination in the Qualifying Examination (Bachelor or a Master Degree) can also apply. But they should be required to submit the Marks Memo and Pass Certificate (Provisional Certificate) of Qualifying examination at the time of Admission Counselling. Otherwise they are not allowed for admission. 4. Apart from the above the candidates must fulfil any one of the following conditions as per NCTE-2014 Regulations. i.
