Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test 2025
The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana, invites online applications from eligible candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes I to VIII in the state. TG-TET-JUNE-2025 will be conducted online as a Computer Based Test (CBT) between 15.06.2025 and 30.06.2025.

Who Can Apply?
Candidates who:
- Possess D.El.Ed./D.Ed./B.Ed./Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications
- Are in their final year of the above courses with required marks (as per the Information Bulletin)
- Wish to teach in Govt., Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, Private Aided or Unaided schools in Telangana
- Have already qualified earlier TETs but wish to improve their score
Paper Structure
TG-TET-JUNE-2025 will have two papers:
- Paper-I: For Classes I to V
- Paper-II: For Classes VI to VIII
- Both Papers: For Classes I to VIII
STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF TS-TET:
The structure and content of the TG-TET is given in the following paragraphs. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking. There will be two papers of the TG-TET, Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V, Paper-II will be for a person whointends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII. A person who intends to be a teacher either for classes I to V or for classes VI to VIII shall have to appear for both papers (Paper I and Paper II).

తెలంగాణ టెట్ నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదలైంది. జూన్ 15 నుంచి జూన్ 30 మధ్య తెలంగాణలో టెట్ నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు స్కూల్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ డిపార్ట్మెంట్ ప్రకటించింది. ఏప్రిల్ 15న పూర్తి నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదల చేయనున్నట్టు స్కూల్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ డైరెక్టర్ తెలిపారు.ఇంటర్ తర్వాత డిప్లొమా ఇన్ ఎలిమెంటరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ పూర్తి చేసినవారు టెట్ పేపర్-–1 పాసవ్వాలి. డిగ్రీ తర్వాత బీఈడీ చేసినవారు టెట్ పేపర్–-2లో ఉత్తీర్ణత సాధించాలి. విద్యా హక్కు చట్టం ప్రకారం సెక్షన్ 23(1) నేషనల్ కౌన్సిల్ ఫర్ టీచర్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ నిర్దేశించిన ప్రమాణాల ప్రకారం.. ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రైవేటు పాఠశాలల్లో ఉపాధ్యాయులుగా పనిచేయాలంటే టీచర్ ఎలిజిబిలిటీ టెస్ట్ (టెట్)లో అర్హత పొందడం తప్పనిసరి.ఇప్పటి వరకు డీఈడీ, బీఈడీ తదితర కోర్సులు పూర్తిచేసిన అభ్యర్థులు మాత్రమే టీచర్ ఉద్యోగం కోసం దరఖాస్తు చేసుకునేవారు. కానీ, ఎన్సీటీఈ తీసుకొచ్చిన నిబంధనల ప్రకారం టీచర్ల ప్రమోషన్లకూ టెట్ క్వాలిఫై తప్పనిసరి చేసింది. రాష్ట్రంలో తెలంగాణ స్టేట్ టీచర్ ఎలిజిబులిటీ టెస్ట్ (టెట్) ను ఇక నుంచి ఏటా రెండు సార్లు నిర్వహించాలని రాష్ట్ర సర్కారు నిర్ణయించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే.ప్రతి ఏటా జూన్, డిసెంబర్/జనవరిలో నిర్వహించేలా ప్రభుత్వం స్పెషల్ షెడ్యూల్కూడా ఖరారు చేసింది. గతంలోనే నేషనల్ కౌన్సిల్ ఫర్ టీచర్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ (ఎన్సీటీఈ) ఏటా రెండుసార్లు టెట్ నిర్వహించాలని రాష్ట్రాలను ఆదేశించింది.*

TS-TET-2024 will be conducted in 2 papers viz. Paper-I & Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I and the candidates who intend to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.
Date and Timings of TG-TET-2024:
- TG-TET-2024 will be conducted on ------------------------------------------------------------ in all the 33 Districts of the State. The duration and timings of the test are given below:
- Paper-I: 9.00 am to 11.30 noon (duration 2 ½ hours)
- Paper-II: 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm (duration 2 ½ hours)
Online Payment of Exam fee:
- The exam fee prescribed for appearing for a Single Paper (i.e. only Paper I or only Paper II), or, for Both Papers (i.e. Paper I and Paper II) is Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred only).
- Candidates can pay the exam fee through Online payment option provided in the TG-TET website tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/ between--------------------------------------------------- to -----------
Procedure for submission of application online:
- Detailed procedure for applying ONLINE is given in the Information Bulletin. Candidates can download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the TGTET website: https://tstet.cgg.gov.in from 22.03.2024 onwards.
- Candidates can submit their applications online from ------------------------------------to --------------------------------- through website: tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/ . schools shall have the option of appearing at CTET conducted by Central Government through CBSE, instead of TG-TET-2024, if they so desire.
- The candidates who did not qualify in the TETs conducted earlier can also apply for the TG-TET-2024. Further, the candidates who got qualified in the earlier TETs can also apply for TG-TET-2024, if they desire improvement over their previous TET score.
- TG-TET-2024 will be conducted in 2 papers viz. Paper-I & Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for
- Paper-I and the candidates who intend to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.

The candidates at the time of applying for TG-TET should be in possession of the following minimum qualifications prescribed for category of I to V classes (Paper- I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper - II) separately.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR TS-TET PAPER-I (CLASSES I TO V):
(i) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks. However in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 - year Diploma in Education (Special Education).OR
(ii) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 45% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 - year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines ( 23-12-2015).
OR
(iii)Graduation with atleast 50% marks, however in case of SC / ST / BC / Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Bachelor of Education (Special Education)
(i) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with atleast 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education).
OR
(ii) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with atleast 50% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be40%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to B.Ed., course prior to issue of theseguidelines (23-12-2015).
OR
(iii) 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with atleast 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%.
OR
(iv) Graduation with language concerned as one of the optional subjects OR Bachelor of oriental language (or its equivalent) OR Graduation in literature OR Post Graduation in language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.
OR
(v) B.E/B.Tech with atleast 50% marks and Passed / Pursuing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education). In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%.
Structure, Content and Syllabus of TG-TET
a) The structure and content of each part of Paper-I and Paper-II of the TG-TET, and the breakup of the total 150 marks among various parts of the paper are given in the Information Bulletin.b) Syllabus for TG-TET can be downloaded from https://tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/ TG-TET-2024 shall be conducted in all the 33 Districts of the State. Candidates can choose any Examination Centre (District) of their choice. However, when the capacity of any particular Examination Centre (District) gets exhausted, that particular Examination Centre (District) will not be displayed in the list of examination centers given in the Online application form. In such case, the candidates have to choose the Examination Centre (District) of their choice from the remaining list available.
QUALIFYING MARKS IN TGTET, ISSUE OF MEMOs/CERTIFICATES
i) General 60% and above
ii) BC 50% and above
iii) SC/ST/ Differently abled (PH)** 40% and above
Validity period of TET Certificate / Marks Memo:
The validity period of TET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana, would remain valid for life. Weightage for TG-TET Scores in selection in Teacher Recruitment Test. As per G.O.Ms.No.36,School Education (Trg.) Dept., dt 23.12.2015 cited under ref.1 , 20% weightage is given to TET score in Teacher Recruitment Test inthe State of Telangana.

MODE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION
A candidate can apply for the TG-TET-2024 Online by logging to the website tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/ only. Before applying online, candidates shall ensure to have separate scanned images of latest photograph and signature in *.jpeg format only for uploading. The candidates are not required to send hard copy of confirmation page to TS- TET Cell. However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the application.
HALL TICKET
Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website at tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/ from -------------------------. In case any candidate could not download the Hall ticket she/he should contact the Director, SCERT & Ex- officio Director, TET, Hyderabad between 10.30 AM and 5.00 PM on all working days between -------------to -------------------------------- in person only giving details of the journal number of the fee paid, candidate ID of the application submitted, a copy of the printout of the Application form and one photograph (same photograph as pasted on the application form). Request for issue of duplicate Hall Ticket will not be entertained after the examination in any case.
. EXAM FEE:
The exam fee prescribed for appearing for a Single Paper (i.e. only Paper I or only Paper II) is Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only). Candidates intending to appear for both Paper I and II shall pay a fee of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only). What is the Eligibility Criteria for Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test
As we know that TS TET is also known as Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test which conducts for the purpose of recruitment of career oriented and passionate candidates for teaching post. Government of Telangana has created route map to release TET Notification of the year 2022 TS TET Part I is conducted for teachers Jobs of classes I to VIII in schools in Telangana State and Part II for teachers of classes VI to VIII.So, those candidates are going to appear in TS TET Part I exam:
Telangana TET Qualification Teachers of Classes I-V (Paper I) 2022: Those applicants has applied for Paper I, should have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 percent marks. They are also eligible to appear in this exam, who are appearing in inal 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education. Those have completed their BA / B.Sc. with at least 50 percent marks and B.Ed qualification can also apply easily.Telangana TET Qualification Teachers of Classes VI-VIII (Paper II) 2022:
TS TET 2022 Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
The aspirants who are looking forth for TS TET Exam Pattern and Syllabus , we have given detailed syllabus and exam pattern for your guidence. The exam will be objective type. Each Paer will consist of 150 MCQs multiple choice questions and each question carries 1 mark totalling for 150 marks.The aspirants have to write:
Paper 1: To become teachers for classes I-V in Telangana primary school.Paper II: To become teachers for classes between VI and VIII in Telangana upper primary school.
Paper I and II: For those candidates who interested in teaching from Class I to VIII. They can appear for both the papers and have to get qualifying marks to be considered for all the classes
