Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for Admission in to Six Year Integrated B.Tech. Program for the academic year 2024-25. Interested candidates can apply for admission online through TS online centre/ Meeseva/ University website www.rgukt.ac.in. Candidates can submit online applications from 01.06.2024. Every year, the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Basara will provide information about Basara IIIT Admission 2024 on its official website, https://www.rgukt.ac.in. Students who have completed their 10th grade and are eligible and interested in the programme may review the details and submit an application at the IIIT Basara admissions website, located at https://www.admissions.rgukt.ac.in.
The institution provides undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programmes in a range of technical disciplines, including as engineering, computer science, and technology. IIIT Basara is renowned for its top-notch instruction, cutting-edge infrastructure, and research-based curriculum.
Telangana students who have passed their tenth grade have the chance to enrol in the six-year integrated B.Tech programme at the IIIT Basara Campus through the TS RGUKT IIIT Admission 2024. Students from rural and poor parts of Telangana State will receive a superior education through this B.Tech programme at the IIIT Basara campus. The curriculum is split into two parts, with the first two years devoted to a foundation course and the latter four years to specialised computer science and engineering courses.

How to Apply for Admission into RGUKT:
The process of submitting application comprises of the following steps:
i. Pay the application fee and get the application ID after submitting basic details.
ii. Fill the online application form.
iii. Print application form.
iv. Only PH/CAP/NCC/Sports applicants have to post their online printed
application forms along with following certificates:
a. The receipt issued by the TS Online services.
b. Physically Challenged (PH) certificate (see Annexure-VI).
c. Children of Armed Forces (CAP) certificate (see Annexure-VII).
d. The NCC certificate (see Annexure- VIII).
e. Sports certificate(s) at the level of inter-district and above (see Annexure-VIII)
Application Fee:
- For the candidates of OC/BC (TS & AP) Rs.500/-
- For the candidates of SC/ST (TS & AP) Rs.450/-
- For the candidates of other states (other than
- Telangana & Andhra Pradesh) for Global seats Rs.1500/-
- For the candidates of Telangana interested in unfilled

- For the candidates of NRI / International US $100.00.
Eligibility for Admission:
i. Candidates should have passed SSC (10th Class) or any other equivalent examinations in the first attempt, recognized by the State Governments of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh in the Year 2023.
ii. Candidates whose age is above 18 years as on 31.12.2024, (21 years in case of students under the SC/ST categories) are not eligible to apply.
iii. International students having Indian Citizenship / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
Selection Method:
i. Admissions will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject in 10th class by following the statutory reservations and as per the provisions of Presidential Order,1974.A deprivation score of 0.4 prescribed by the under Statute 13 (3), shall be added to the normalized score of applicants from non-residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad and Municipal Schools for selection, with an objective of providing weightage to help the students
from socially, economically deprived sections of the society for admissions.
ii. In case of a tie in score, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in that sequence:
a. Higher grade in Mathematics
b. Higher grade in General Science
c. Higher grade in English
d. Higher grade in Social Studies
e. Higher grade in 1st Language
f. Older candidate as per the Date of Birth
g. Lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number
The procedure of resolving the tie by random number is as follows:
For SSC, NIOS & OSSC applicants
The random number will be obtained as the reminder of {253x [first 5 digits of the hall
ticket number] divided by the last 5 digits of the hall ticket number}
For example, from the hall ticket no.1219121028, the first five digits viz.,12191 and the
last five digits viz.,21028 will be considered for this purpose. The remainder is 14235.
The lowest remainder obtained from the hall ticket number shall be considered as merit.
For CBSE & ICSE applicants
The Hall ticket consists of seven digits. Hence, the random number will be obtained as
the reminder of {253 x [first 3 digits of the hall ticket number] divided by the last 4 digits
of the hall ticket number}.
For example, from the hall ticket no.:4112605, the first three digits viz., 411 and the last
four digits viz.,2605 will be considered for this purpose. The remainder is 2388.
The lowest remainder obtained from the hall ticket number shall be considered as merit.
If the tie is resolved with any one of the check points in the chronological order mentioned
above, the next option(s) will not be checked.
Admission Procedure:
- Based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade earned in each course, as well as by adhering to the legislative reservations of the State, applicants for admission to the first year of the Integrated B Tech Programme (2017–18) will be considered. In order to give socioeconomically disadvantaged students more weight in the admissions process, the government has mandated for the 2017–18 academic year that applicants who attended non–residential government schools, such as Zilla Parishad and Municipal Schools, must add a deprivation score of 0.4 to their 10th class GPA.
- According to Presidential Order 371 Article D in accordance with Section 95 of the AP Reorganisation Act of 2014, admissions to RGUKT, Basar, shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Osmania University area, Telangana State), and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be unreserved (these seats will be filled with both States Telangana and Andhra Pradesh students based on merit).
Annual Fee:
- a) The tuition fee for the candidates who studied in Schools situated in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh States is Rs.37,000/- per annum (It includes Rs.500/- examination fee per semester).
- b) Students who are eligible for tuition fee reimbursement as per the guidelines issued by the respective State Governments need not pay the tuition fee (Students whose parental annual income is below Rs.1.0 lakh for non SC/ST category and below Rs.2.0 lakh for SC/ST category and who fulfill the other conditions as per the latest Govt. rules are eligible for fee reimbursement).
- c) Every student has to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (by all), and medical insurance of Rs. 500/- approximately per annum for first two years (by all), that is a total of Rs.3,500/- (Rs 3,000/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.

Certified copies of the following certificates / documents should be sent along with the print-out of the online application form submitted through TS Online Services:
- a) The receipt issued by the TS Online services (see 2(c) above).
- b) Hall Ticket of 10th Class or its equivalent.
- c) Study Certificates from Fourth class to Tenth class/ Residence certificate by those claiming Local category (in any of Osmania University areas (Telangana State), (for details, see Annexure - III).
- d) Residence certificate / service certificate of parents by those claiming un reserved category of seats (for details, see Annexure - IV).
- e) Certificate showing the GPA of 10th class Public Examination, like SSC/CBSE/ICSE/NIOS.
- f) Proof of caste / community certificate (SC/ST/BC) in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under any of these categories (for details see Annexure - V).
- g) Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under this category (for details see Annexure - VI).

ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలలో పదో తరగతి ఉత్తీర్ణులైన విద్యార్థులకు, నాన్‌ రెసిడెన్షియల్‌ పాఠశాలలు, జడ్పీ హైస్కూల్‌, మున్సిపల్‌ హైస్కూల్‌, సాంఘిక సంక్షేమ మోడల్‌ స్కూళ్లలో చదివిన విద్యార్థులకు 0.4 జీపీఏ కలపనున్నారు. ట్రిపుల్ ఐటీలో 85 శాతం సీట్లను స్థానికంగా, మిగిలిన 15 శాతం సీట్లను మెరిట్‌ కోటాలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌, తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర విద్యార్థులకు కేటాయించారు. అలాగే గ్లోబల్‌ కేటగిరీలో ఇతర రాష్ర్టాల వారికి 5 శాతం, ఎన్‌ఆర్‌ఐ కోటాకు 2 శాతం సీట్లను కేటాయించారు. రాష్ట్రపతి ఉత్తర్వులు 371 ఆర్టికల్‌ డీ సెక్షన్‌ 95, 2014 మేరకు ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు.
గ్రేడు పాయింట్లు సమానమైతే ఇలా..
ట్రిపుల్ ఐటీలో సీటు కోసం దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్న విద్యార్థులు సంబంధిత కేటగిరీలో ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలలో చదివిన విద్యార్థులకు సాధించిన జీపీఏ సమానమైతే వరుసగా గణితం, సైన్స్‌, ఇంగ్లిష్‌ , సోషల్‌, ఫస్ట్‌ లాంగ్వేజ్‌లో ఎక్కువ మార్కులు వచ్చిన వారికి ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తారు. ఇవన్నీ సమానంగా ఉంటే విద్యార్థి పుట్టిన తేదీ ప్రకారం ఎవరు పెద్దవారైతే వారికి సీటును కేటాయించనున్నారు. ఇవి కూడా సమానంగా ఉంటే. పదో తరగతి విద్యార్థి హాల్‌టికెట్‌లో రాండామ్‌ ఎవరికి తక్కువ ఉంటే వారికి ఎంపిక చేస్తారు.

*💫బాసర ట్రిపుల్ ఐటీలో ఆరేండ్ల ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్‌ కోర్సులో భాగంగా మొదటి, రెండు సంవత్సరాలు పీయూసీ-1, పీయూసీ -2 ఉంటుంది. మిగతా నాలుగేండ్లు బీటెక్‌ ఇంజినీరింగ్‌ విద్యావిధానం ఉంటుంది. ప్రతి యేడాది మొదటి రెండు సంత్సరాలు పూర్తయిన తర్వాత కొందరు విద్యార్థులు ఇక్కడి నుంచి వెళ్లి ఇతర కళాశాలలో ఇంజినీరింగ్‌ చదువుతున్నారు. అలా వెళ్లడం వల్ల బీటెక్‌లో సీట్లు ఖాళీగా ఉంటున్నాయి. అయితే ఈ ఏడాది సీట్లను భర్తీ చేసేందుకు వీలుగా ప్రభుత్వ అనుమతితో ఒక కమిటీ వేశామని, త్వరలోనే కమిటీ నిర్ణయాల మేరకు ఖాళీ సీట్లను భర్తీ చేస్తామని ఇన్‌చార్జి వైస్‌ చాన్స్‌లర్‌ వెంకటరమణ అన్నారు. ఈ సీట్లను గ్లోబల్‌ కేటగిరీ కింద భర్తీ చేసి యేటా 1.37 లక్షలు విద్యార్థి చెల్లించాల్సి ఉంటుందన్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో వీసీ వెంకటరమణ, డైరెక్టర్‌ సతీశ్‌కుమార్‌, అడ్మిషన్‌ కో-ఆర్డినేటర్లు, అడ్మిషన్‌ కమిటీ సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.

BASARA IIIT Admission Notification 2022 and Online Application Form
Applications are invited for admission to the first year of 6-Year Integrated B.Tech program at RGUKT Basar (Telangana State) for the academic year 2022-23.The Programme offered by the RGUKT consists of a six integrated course after 10th class examination leading to a B Tech . Degree. The first part of the six year course is a two year Pre University course equivalent ato TS Intermediate followed by a second part of four year Engineering course. At present the Pre University part of education offers premature specialization in tracks such as Mathematics,Physics,Chemistry and life Sciences equivalent to MPC + BiPC . By bringing students in to the University at an earlier stage we hope to impart a broad based education including humanities and liberal arts to students
Important Information of BASARA IIIT Admission Notification
The Press note for the Admissions to 6-Year Integrated B. Tech Program-2022 in Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) is released on 30-06-2022 at Conference Hall, RGUKT Basar.
Admissions to the first year of Integrated B. Tech Program (2022-23) will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject, and by the statutory reservations of the State. A deprivation score of 0.4 prescribed by the Government under Statute 13 (3) shall be added to the 10th class GPA for those applicants who studied in non-residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad, Municipal Schools with an objective of providing weightage to the socio economically challenged students in the admission process.
At RGUKT, Basar, admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Telangana State) and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be Un-reserved (these seats will be filled with both the students of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh based
on merit) as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014.
Supernumerary seats to the extent of 5% are available under the Global Category for the students belonging to States other than Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and including the Children of Indians (all the States) working in Gulf Countries. The tuition fee for the Global Category is Rs.1,36,000/- per annum.

2. How To Apply:
a) The candidates should apply through TSOnline services only.
b) Application Fee: Rs. 200.00 (for OC and BC candidates)
Rs. 150.00 (for SC and ST candidates)
c) The application fee should be paid in cash at TSOnline service center, for which the center will issue a receipt.
d) An additional amount of Rs. 25.00 per application should be paid as service charges to the TSOnline Centre
e) If any candidate applies more than once, then the latest application will be considered for the selection process.
f) Immediately after submitting the application through online, the applicant should send its print-out duly signed along with copy of the receipt mentioned in 2(c) above and the relevant certificates to The Director, Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Basar, Nirmal District, Telangana State-504107, by Speed Post / Registered Post. c) International students shall be of Indian Nationality / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
6. Rules of Reservation:
a) The admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be un- reserved as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D and in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014 (see Annexure-1).
b) The rules of reservation for different categories are as under in both local and un- reserved categories, subject to any changes and amendments made by the Government of Telangana State.
i. SC - 15%, ST - 6%, BC-A - 7%, BC-B - 10%, BC-C - 1%, BC-D - 7%, BC-E - 4%
ii. Physically Handicapped (PH) - 3% (VH-1%, HI-1% & OH-1%), Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) - 2%, NCC - 1% and Sports - 0.5%.
iii. A horizontal reservation of 33 1/3 % of seats in favor of women candidates in each category (OC/SC/ST/BC/Special Categories) shall be ensured, wherever women candidates are available.
iv. In case of PH candidates, certificates issued by the State Medical Board alone are acceptable. For Sports and CAP categories, certificates issued by the respective District Boards are acceptable. These reservations are applicable at State-level. Model proformas for certificates are given for all the above categories in Annexures.
v. Since the courses offered are technical in nature and require appropriate physical fitness, RGUKT reserves the right of rejecting the application of such candidates who are declared by the experts as physically unfit to pursue the course.
7. Selection Method:
a) Admissions will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject, and as per the provisions of Presidential Order, 1974. A deprivation score of 0.4 prescribed by the Government for the year 2017-18 under Statute 13 (3), shall be added to the 10th class GPA of applicants from non-residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad and Municipal Schools for selection, with an objective of providing weightage to help the students from socially, economically deprived sections of the society for admissions.
b) In case of a tie in GPA score, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in that sequence:
i. higher grade in Mathematics,
ii. higher grade in General Science,
iii. higher grade in English,
iv. higher grade in Social Studies,
v. higher grade in 1st Language,
vi. older candidate as per the Date of Birth,
vii. lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number.
If the tie is resolved with any of the check in the chronological order mentioned above, the next option(s) will not be checked.
c) The procedure of resolving by random number is as follows:
- For SSC, NIOS & OSSC applicants
- The random number will be obtained as the reminder of {253 x [first 5 digits of the hall ticket number] divided by the last 5 digits of the hall ticket number}
- For example, from the hall ticket no.1219121028, the first five digits viz., 12191 and the last five digits viz., 21028 will be considered for this purpose. The reminder is 14235.
- For CBSE & ICSE applicants
- The Hall ticket consists seven digits. Hence, the random number will be obtained as the reminder of {253 x [first 3 digits of the hall ticket number] divided by the last 4 digits of the hall ticket number}.
- For example, from the hall ticket no.4112605, the first three digits viz., 411 and the last four digits viz., 2605 will be considered for this purpose. The reminder is 2388.
8. Intimation to Selected Candidates:
a. The list of candidates selected for counseling will be displayed on the University website www.rgukt.ac.in or www.admissions.rgukt.ac.in.
b. The candidates will also be informed by post, e-mail and SMS message, wherever possible, to the address/mobile number written in the application form.
9. Counseling:
a) The candidates selected for counseling shall report in person at RGUKT - Basar, Nirmal District in Telangana State for verification of original certificates / documents and the details provided in the application form.
b) Counseling and selection for admission in respect of candidates belonging to the Special Categories like Physically Handicapped (PH), Children of Armed Personnel (CAP), NCC and Sports will be conducted at RGUKT- Basar.

11. Admission:
Admission to the first year of 6-Year Integrated Engineering course in the University will be granted only after satisfactory verification and scrutiny of the details mentioned in the application and the original certificates / documents submitted by the candidate at the counseling center. Mere selection for counseling and verification of certificates / documents will not guarantee admission to the candidate.12. Annual Fee:
a) The tuition fee for the candidates who studied in Schools situated in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh States is Rs.37,000/- per annum (It includes Rs.500/- examination fee per semester).
b) Students who are eligible for tuition fee reimbursement as per the guidelines issued by the respective State Governments need not pay the tuition fee (Students whose parental annual income is below Rs.1.0 lakh for non SC/ST category and below Rs.2.0 lakh for SC/ST category and who fulfill the other conditions as per the latest Govt. rules are eligible for fee reimbursement).
c) Every student has to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (by all), and medical insurance of Rs. 500/- approximately per annum for first two years (by all), that is a total of Rs.3,500/- (Rs 3,000/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.
13. Admission of Students from other States and International Students:
a) Supernumerary seats to the extent of 5% are available under the Global Category for the students belonging to States other than Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and including the Children of Indians (all the States) working in Gulf Countries. Admission will be on the basis of merit in the marks/grades obtained in the 10th standard examination. Those candidates who got a minimum of 70% of marks alone are eligible for admissions.
Note: Unfilled seats of Global Category will be allocated to the local candidates (only for the TS) by paying Rs.1,37,000/- per annum which includes tuition, examination, hostel, mess, and laptop fees and etc.
b) The tuition fee for students from other states and Children of Indians working in Gulf Countries is Rs.1,37,000/- per annum which includes tuition, examination, hostel, mess, and laptop fees and etc.
c) 2% supernumerary seats are available for International / NRI students.
d) The tuition fee for International / NRI students is Rs.3,01,000/- per annum which includes tuition, examination, hostel, mess, and laptop fees and etc.
e) Applicants from the states other than Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Children of Indians working in Gulf Countries, International and NRI students seeking admission at RGUKT – Basar shall apply through www.admissions.rgukt.ac.in only.
f) The application fee for students from a state other than Telangana & Andhra Pradesh is Rs.250/-.
g) The application fee for Children of Indians working in Gulf Countries, International and NRI is US$: 25.00.
h) Applicants who are Children of Indians working in Gulf Countries, International and NRI students should pay the application fee through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Director, RGUKT, Basar and payable at any nationalized bank.
i) Lateral Entry Admissions in to 4-Year B.Tech Program is also available for International / NRI students. Admission will be on the basis of merit in the
marks/grades obtained in the 12th standard examination. Those candidates who got a minimum of 70% of marks are eligible for admissions.
j) Branch allocation for the Lateral Entry admissions in to 4-Year B.Tech Program will be done for the branches mentioned (see 10(b) above) and allocation is done purely on basis of merit as per preferences opted by the student and subject to availability of seats.

What is the Application Fee forRGUKT IIIT Basara Admission?
1. For the candidates who applied for TS POLYCET - 2022 No Fee
2. For Global Category: Candidates belonging to other States (except TS and AP) and the Children of Indians (of all States) working in Gulf Countries (Refer 12.a) Rs.1000/-
3. For the Unfilled Global Category: Candidates interested in Unfilled seats of Global Category (Refer 12.a) Rs.1000/-
4. For the candidates of NRI/International US $: 25.00
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Candidates of Telangana State who applied for the Unfilled seats Global category (Refer 12.a), their application will also be considered in the General category of admission.
a) The application fee for Global and Unfilled Global Category should be paid in cash at TSOnline service center, for which the center will issue a receipt.
b) An additional amount of Rs. 25.00 per application should be paid as service charge to the
TSOnline Centre.
c) If any candidate applies more than once, then the latest application will be considered for the selection process.
d) Immediately after submitting the application through online, the PH/CAP/NCC/Sports napplicant should send its print-out duly signed along with copy of the receipt mentioned
in 2.1 above and the relevant certificates to The Convener, Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Basar, Nirmal District, Telangana State-504107, by Speed
Post / Registered Post. The candidates should write on top of the cover ‘Application for Admissions 2021 – For PH/CAP/NCC/Sports Category – RGUKT - Basar’.
What are the List of Certificates to be enclosed (PH/CAP/NCC/Sports applicants only)?
Certified copies of the following certificates / documents should be sent along with the print –out of the online application form submitted through TSOnline Services:
a) The receipt issued by the TSOnline services (see 2(c) above).
b) Latest Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate issued by the competent authority for claiming reservation under this category (for details see Annexure - II).
c) Children of Armed Forces (CAP) certificates in the prescribed proforma for claiming reservation under this category (for details see Annexure - II).
d) NCC certificate for claiming reservation under this category (for details see Annexure-II).
e) Sports certificate(s) along with Form-I/II/III/IV issued by competent sports authority for claiming reservation under this category. (For details see Annexure - II).
What is the Admission Procedure?
a) Admissions to the first year of Integrated B Tech Program (2021-22) will be based on merit in the TS POLYCET-2021 marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry by following the statutory reservations of the State. A deprivation score prescribed by the Government for the year 2021-22 as provision given in Statute 13 (3) of RGUKT Act, 2008 (Act 18 of 2008) shall be added to the POLYCET Marks of those applicants who studied in non-residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad and Municipal Schools, with an objective of providing weightage to the socio economically challenged students in the admission process.
b) At RGUKT, Basar, admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Telangana State) and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be un-reserved (these seats will be filled with both States Telangana and Andhra Pradesh students based on merit) as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014.
What is the Eligibility for Admission into RGUKT IIIT Basara ?
a) Candidates should have passed SSC (10th class) or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Governments of Telangana State & AP State in 2021 in the first attempt.
b) Candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States should have appeared for TS POLYCET2021. Candidates from other than Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States (who are applying for Global Category seats) need not appear for TS POLYCET-2021.
c) Candidates should not have completed 18 years of age as on 31.12.2021, whereas the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories the upper age limit is 21 years.
d) International students shall be of Indian Nationality / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
What are the Rules of Reservation for Admission into RGUKT IIIT Basara ?
a) The admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be un-reserved as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D and in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014 (see AnnexureI).
b) The rules of reservation for different categories are as under in both local and un-reserved
categories, subject to any changes and amendments made by the Government of Telangana
State.
i. SC - 15%, ST - 6%, BC-A - 7%, BC-B - 10%, BC-C - 1%, BC-D - 7%, BC-E - 4%
ii. EWS Reservation: EWS Reservations will be applicable according to the Government
Orders (G.O.s) and guidelines issued by Telangana Government from time to time.
iii. Physically Handicapped (PH) - 3% (VH-1%, HI-1% & OH-1%), Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) - 2%, NCC - 1% and Sports - 0.5%.
iv. A horizontal reservation of 33 1/3 % of seats in favor of women candidates in each category
(OC/SC/ST/BC/Special Categories) shall be ensured, wherever women candidates are
available.
v. In case of PH candidates, certificates issued by the State Medical Board alone are
acceptable. For Sports and CAP categories, certificates issued by the respective District
Boards are acceptable. These reservations are applicable at State-level. Model proformas
for certificates are given for all the above categories in Annexures.
vi. Since the courses offered are technical in nature and require appropriate physical fitness,
RGUKT reserves the right of rejecting the application of such candidates who are declared
by the experts as physically unfit to pursue the course.
What is the Selection Method for RGUKT IIIT Basara Admission?
a) Admissions to the first year of Integrated B Tech Program (2021-22) will be based on merit in the TS POLYCET-2021 marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry by following the statutory reservations of the State. b) In case of a tie in marks, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in that sequence:
i. Higher marks in Mathematics,

v. Lowest random number obtained from the SSC/10th class hall ticket number.
If the tie is resolved with any of the check in the chronological order mentioned above, the next option(s) will not be checked.
c) The procedure of resolving by random number is as follows:
For SSC, NIOS & OSSC applicants
The random number will be obtained as the reminder of {253 x [first 5 digits of the
hall ticket number] divided by the last 5 digits of the hall ticket number}
For example, from the hall ticket no.1219121028, the first five digits viz., 12191 and
the last five digits viz., 21028 will be considered for this purpose. The reminder is
14235
For CBSE & ICSE applicants
The Hall ticket consists seven digits. Hence, the random number will be obtained as the reminder of {253 x [first 3 digits of the hall ticket number] divided by the last 4 digits of the hall ticket number}.
For example, from the hall ticket no.4112605, the first three digits viz., 411 and the
last four digits viz., 2605 will be considered for this purpose. The reminder is 2388.
What is the Procedure for Intimation to Selected Candidates?
a. The list of candidates selected for counseling will be displayed on the University website
www.rgukt.ac.in and/or www.admissions.rgukt.ac.in.
b. The candidates will also be informed by e-mail and SMS message, wherever possible, to the
email/mobile number written in the application form.
What is the Process of Counseling?
a) The candidates selected for counseling shall report in person at RGUKT - Basar, Nirmal District in Telangana State for verification of original certificates / documents as per the scheduled which will be given in call letters.

What is the Process of Admission into RGUKT IIIT Basara ?
Admission to the first year of 6-Year Integrated Engineering course in the University will be granted only after satisfactory verification and scrutiny of the details mentioned in the application and the original certificates / documents submitted by the candidate at the counseling center. Mere selection for counseling and verification of certificates / documents will not guarantee admission to the candidate.
What is the Annual Fee for Admission into RGUKT IIIT Basara ?
a) The tuition fee for the candidates who studied in Schools situated in Telangana & Andhra
Pradesh States is Rs.37,000/- per annum (It includes Rs. 500/- examination fee per semester).
b) Students who are eligible for tuition fee reimbursement as per the guidelines issued by the respective State Governments need not pay the tuition fee.
c) Every student has to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (by all), and medical insurance of Rs. 500/-
approximately per annum for first two years (by all), that is a total of Rs.3,500/- (Rs 3,000/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.
What is the process of Admission for Students from other States and International?
a) Supernumerary seats to the extent of 5% are available under the Global Category for the
students belonging to States other than Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and including the
Children of Indians (all the States) working in Gulf Countries.
b) The tuition fee for students from other states and Children of Indians working in Gulf Countries is Rs.1,37,000/- per annum which includes tuition, examination, hostel, and mess fees and etc.
c) 2% supernumerary seats are available for International / NRI students.
d) The tuition fee for International / NRI students is Rs.3,01,000/- per annum.
e) Applicants from the Other States, Children of Indians working in Gulf Countries, International and NRI students seeking admission at RGUKT – Basar shall apply through
www.admissions.rgukt.ac.in only.
f) Applicants from International and NRI should pay the application fee through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Director, RGUKT, Basar, and payable at any nationalized bank.
g) Admissions to the supernumerary seats of other States, Children of Indians working in
Gulf Countries, International and NRI will be based on merit in the SSC/10th class.
Note: Unfilled seats of Global Category (Left over seats of other state candidates) will be
allocated to the local candidates (only for the TS) based on their merit in TS POLYCET
2021. Such candidates, if selected, shall pay Rs.1,37,000/- per annum.
