The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that as per Rule.3 of G.O.Ms.No.1, Education, dated:01-01-1994, the RJDSE or the DEO is the competent authority, as the case may be, for establishment of a new school (not at a stretch) and opening of parallel sections of other media.
Accordingly, the District Educational Officers/ Regional Joint Directors are according permissions for opening of parallel secrions of other media in private un-aided schools. However, in respect of private aided schools there has been a practice of forwarding the proposals for opening parallel sections to the C~E/Government.
It is brought to the notice of this office that when requests are received from Private Aided Schools managements for opening of parallel sections of other media, the same is not being processed on the plea that• no such orders exist.
[n view of the above circumstances, all the Regional Join Directors of School Education/District Educational Officers in the State are requested to issue necessary permission as per Rule.3 of G.O.Ms.No.l, Education, dated:
01-01-1994 for opening parallel English Medium sections in private Aided Schools strictly as per the procedure in vogue. However, it may be made clear that the posts of teachers in the • parallel media would be unaided posts:
Further, they are requested to ensure that • all the conditions; prescribed in G.O.Ms.No.l, Education, dated:01-01-1994 and its amendments, issued from lime to time, are complied with fully.
